Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can opener works great. When using, all you need to do is align the can that you need to open and press down on the lever. You do not have to hold it down as it works all by itself. It cuts the lid evenly and smoothly. Another great feature is that you can remove the cutting unit and wash it in your dishwasher. This also came with an Openmate multi tool that you can use for opening bottle tops, plastic packaging, and pop top cans. The stainless steel makes this modern looking. It is a great can opener all around.

A perfect can opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not had an electric can opener in a very long time. So I was excited about this. When I removed it from the box I noticed the sleek modern look it has. I was very eager to use this and this is very easy to use. I love that it opens the cans the first time and I was not having to try a second time to open it. I was a little hesitant the first time I used this to not hold on to the can being that this is a hands free can opener. It is very quiet when using it. I did not hold on to the can and the can opener shut off when it was done , and allow me to do something else while the can was opening. The cord storage is a plus I have limited counter space so it is great feature. I love the Open Mate Multi-Tool especially how it fits in the back making it convenient to find when I need this. I am very happy with this and recommend this can opener.

Toss your hand can openers!

And it's quieter than many other electric can openers I've heard over the years - they have a tendency to sound almost like a freight train is in the kitchen. The hidden knife sharpener is a great addition, and the height of the opener is perfect! If you are dealing with arthritis in the hands/wrists, no more pain - most excellent! Thank you, Hamilton Beach, for a well designed and easy to use product.

Quiet and easy to use

It is sturdy and seems of good quality. It is quiet and runs smoothly. My only issue with it is that it cuts the lid jagged and sharp rather than a nice smooth cut. Overall a thumbs up.

A Little Surprise In The Back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener is fantastic. It opened my cans quickly and easily without stopping or making jagged edges. The magnet held on to the cut off top of my can when I was done. On the back side of this can opener is a built in pouch that houses this multi functional tool called an OpenMate Multi Tool. It can open bottles, cat food or soda can pop tops and more. It’s very handy and a great addition to the can opener.

Great compact can opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener is a stylish and simplistic way to open can easily. It's lightweight design does work against it when you need to open a larger, heavier can. You will need both hands, one to stabilize the can and the other to hold the opener so it does not tip over.
The pop out design makes it easy to clean. The fold away magnet is innovative.
The use of the back space to hold the bottle opener/package opener is a nice touch.
Overall, I do like the can opener, but a heavier bottom would make it less likely to tip when opening large, heavy cans.

Reasonable and Works Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can opener was very inexpensive when I bought it six or seven years ago and it is well worth the money! I am tired of standard cheap, non-electric can openers breaking on me all the time and not working right. It is so much easier to have a dependable electric can opener, like the SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener by Black and Decker.
