As some reviews here have said. I have a problem with the water. I have to put in on súper to get water for a small load!! And it’s still not enough water. It worked first until a few months ago.

Problem w/completing a cycle

New GUD27ESSM1WW - after filling with desired water level washing machine will stop at sometime in the cycle. This usually happens on the small load cycle. I cannot figure out where the machine is in the cycles so I end up re-washing the contents. This is a waste of time and water. The machine does a good job in washing and the dryer is very good. Please tell me what I should be doing so that the washing machine doesn't stop in the middle of a cycle. I have followed all the directions in the user manual.

No water

No water comes out once i turn the washer on, just 2 squirts of water then nothing till i open the lid and close it then i will do 2 more then nothing.

Hello Alex - Thanks for providing your review. Any time the washer is being started or restarts after the washer lid has been opened and closed, the washer will turn on the cold water valve for two short periods followed by a 10 second pause before continuing. If the lid is opened during this period, the washer will pause. You will have to push the "Start" button again to restart the cycle.

Too complicated

This is a replacement for the same unit that died after about 20 years of heavy use.
This new model has way too many cycles, and no pull out clothes hanger. It hardly agitates compared to the old model. The only positive thing about it is that its quieter.
Very disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Arrived broken and sent it back.

This machine arrived broken and I had to make another trip to the store where I bought it to report on the problem. I made a video of the very loud, metal banging noises and squeeking sounds during the spin cycle. The sales person arranged for the broken one to be picked tomorrow and a new one to be delivered in its place. All in all, poor quality control.

At first, I was skeptical about this washer / dryer unit, because I had one similar during my college years, over two and a half decades ago.
Not to worry though, because it works perfectly every time.
My clothes are always clean. Even bulky comforters and linens.
Had many improved features and does an excellent job.
The water temperatures, length of cycles, and the dryer is powerful as well.
