Great washer but dryer leaves marks on clothes

The dryer leaves black marks on thinner items that get in the space where the black rubber seal is. It ruins sheets, pillow cases and any garment small enough to find it’s way to that gap.

Just terrible

Moved into an apartment that has this thing installed.
The washer only fills the tub maybe halfway on its highest setting. If you try to do a normal load of laundry most of your clothes just sit outside the water being lightly splashed by the agitator while it makes some of the most annoying sounds on Earth (sounds like it's grinding ducks in there). I've resorted to only filling the thing with about half of what I'd normally do. At first I assumed the thing was broken, but after reading other reviews apparently it's normal for this thing.
Additionally the dryer takes forever. For example, I had to dry a blanket 4 x 90 minutes. I've never had a problem with this particular blanket in any other dryer before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most modern washers are designed to use less energy and water. Load sensing technology adjusts the water level based on cycle and load size, so the amount of water used varies. This is done to comply with the Department of Energy standards for water usage, which have been reduced over time. Because of our load sensing technology, the cleaning performance of the unit has not changed! This model does have a Deep Rinse option you can use if you wish, which is primarily intended to be selected when you use fabric softener.

Regarding the noise, while we want to provide as peaceful an experience as possible we do expect the unit to make some noise as it operates. For your drying concern, you may want to make sure the ducting isn’t obstructed and that any fuses or circuit breakers the machine uses are operating properly. Broken piece off of agitator

I have the white molded agitator in my washer and a small piece broke off at first. A few days ago a larger piece broke off. This machine was purchased approximately 1 year ago in January or first of February. How can this be repaired and why would the agitator be breaking apart for no reason.

Poor Quality, DO NOT RECOMMEND. GC who purchased 12 units. 8 had issues with lid lock. 2 have had multiple service calls. 1 has never worked on 8th service call. GE Refuses to send a new unit until all options are exhausted. So my clients have had to deal with repeated service calls. I decided to save my reputation and buy them a different brand. GE Customer Relations is zero help. Just follow a script and offer no solutions.

NO end of cycle signal!

Unfortunately this unitized washer dryer does NOT have the end of cycle signal/beeper to let me know that my wash and dryer is done. I really need that feature!!!

Too complicated

This is a replacement for the same unit that died after about 20 years of heavy use.
This new model has way too many cycles, and no pull out clothes hanger. It hardly agitates compared to the old model. The only positive thing about it is that its quieter.
Very disappointed

No water

No water comes out once i turn the washer on, just 2 squirts of water then nothing till i open the lid and close it then i will do 2 more then nothing.

Hello Alex - Thanks for providing your review. Any time the washer is being started or restarts after the washer lid has been opened and closed, the washer will turn on the cold water valve for two short periods followed by a 10 second pause before continuing. If the lid is opened during this period, the washer will pause. You will have to push the "Start" button again to restart the cycle.
