what a difference

we were having lots of issues with our wifi not reaching our home office as it had done for years. The internet provider had no solution other than to upgrade to a higher speed and a higher bill. thanks to Orbi our wifi service has been restored. It was easy to install and works very well.

Glad I purchased

I Needed to upgrade to save my marriage. Our existing Netgear Nighthhawk Router, which was the best router I have ever had, provided excellent WiFi coverage for the past 8 years. No fault of the equipment, it just could not keep up with all the new media technology I was adding in our home. I finally gave in to the wife to upgrade and decided on the NetGear Orbi Home Mesh System. It was easy to install and works great. Best move I could have made. Happy Wife...Happy Life. Thank you Netgear!

Worked well for one year...

I heard/read great reviews about Netgear. Had no problems for the first year, then began losing wifi a couple days a week about a month ago. That progressed to randomly losing wifi once a day, every day. To start it up again, I have to shut power to Orbi, disconnect it from the modem, shut power off to modem, restart modem, connect Orbi back to modem and then turn power on to modem. Have tried resetting Netgear Blackhawk modem and Netgear Orbi router but nothing has worked to stop the daily loss of wifi. I don’t have any updates scheduled. I work from home and this has been a huge problem. This product is far too expensive to only last one year. Am ready to junk this and go with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a difference!

I changed from cable to fiber optic internet. I had an old router and when I purchased the Orbi Mesh and installed it. The result was a 30 percent improvement over the old router system. I am currently running at 571 Mbps. This is a huge improvement in WIFI performance in all areas in my home and on the outside. I had previously used extender units with my old cable system. The performance was improved seven fold by adding the Orbi Mesh. It is a huge improvement in my homes WIFI. I am very happy with my purchase.

Issues

I had to return my orbi router as it would not stay connected bc of a firmware issue. Netgear replaced the router with a router that doesn’t connect to my satilites. Now Netgear will not help me get the issue solved.

Easy Setup and Worked Flawlessly

WiFi and routers in general can be a real pain to configure and set up. However this was not the case with the Orbi Home Mesh system. The phone app walked me through each step through simple, easy to follow procedures. It was about as painless as you could get!
