Solved my range problem

I was a bit tricky at first, but it works well once up and running. Don't really understand how to get a satellite to hop through another satellite so the far satellite didn't seem to have good connection at first, but after a day or two, it seems to correct itself. Also couldn't figure out have to setup 2.4ghz network.

It was great to start, but then loses connections

Initially the system worked beautifully. Then soon after the 90 support window was up, the connection became spotty. It would drop connection or be really really slow, even when the internet coming into it was stable and fast. It is still under warranty for being broken, but they offer no free support after 90 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have an Orbi mesh, this is a must have addition. Compatible with both the Orbi home and Pro, it provides excellent coverage in the outside area. The device is heavy duty weather resistant connections. It comes with solid mounting hardware and a long power cord.

Orbi. Outdoor satellite

This has been an amazing addition to our Orbi home system. Now we can be way out there in the garden and have strong, fast, and reliable WiFi signal, not only for apps and music, but also for safety thru WiFi calling as our wireless providers don’t have strong enough signals in our area and we used to miss may calls. Thank you Netgear / Orbi!

Working Better Now

After first setting up it seemed to work great then after a few days I started to experience problems with my Sony TV (2019 Model).
At first the TV connected to satellite on 5Ghz channel, but after a few days it was on 2.4Ghz channel and then after few more days it was on 5Ghz channel on Router which is further away. Then it started disconnecting and would not connect back (TV Says SSID is disabled), I would connect back and it wold only stay connected for 10-15 mins before disconnecting again After forgetting the network on the TV and adding again it connected back at 5Ghz on the Satellite but after few days it went through same cycle as before and eventually would only stay connected for 10-15 mins at a time.
Eventually I moved the satellite closer and it now seems more stable with the TV staying on the 5Ghz channel from satellite.
My guess is that there is some issue with the TV trying to connect back to the satellite once it connected to router and it ended up disconnecting instead. Other devices on the network don't have any issues.
Apart from that its definitely improved the speed of my Wi-Fi over my AT&T U-Verse Router.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful mesh router

This product is just amazing. We had several internet problems in our house and the provider couldn't resolve the issue even though they tried they own brand extenders. We have had to restart many times the router, turn of our devices and so... After research we decided to buy the Orbi Mesh WiFi. As soon as we set up (super easy) we noticed the difference. The device is able to fill a large home with high-speed Wi-Fi and has more range and power than any other router we have tried. The result: no more internet connectivity issues. We strongly recommend this device if you are experiencing internet problems / weak signal or even slow speed connection.

Reliable product and easy to install

I installed the RBK50 AC3000 with 2 WiFi satellites, and connected 7 security cameras, a smart TV, Orbi irrigation system, and my laptop computer and they all run fast, smoothly with no interference or delays.Installation was easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will disconnect as you move through space

I’ve had two daisy chained satellites plus the central mesh system for a year now, and it’s been mostly glitchy. I lose my data connection for a few seconds each time I walk through my 900 sqft apartment. The satellites regularly lose connection to smart plugs. HomeKit does not respond to half of my accessories about 50% of the time. Not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
