Not work with RAX200 router when SmartConnect On

I currently use only RAX200 router (AX, OFDMA, MU-MIMO on for all Channels, ) and this Orbi in Extender mode. I can pair these two and It will work for me for some unpredictable amount of time. But when it drops, it require to manually reset both devices. When I turn off this Orbi and use RAX200 only, I can have stable connections for weeks. But when this Orbi turns on, more than half devices can't load data even they see the signal was strong)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I now have a strong wireless signal throughout my home and back yard, the exact outcome I wanted.
Easy set up. Works with non orbi routers as an extender. It extended the Wifi outdoors by 200 feet. Very pleased with the performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this to make life easier along with the other Orbi Router and Satellite as well as a nighthawk modem. Since my internet was spotty in my large home I thought this would be my solution. Well it is worse...Days wasted trying to get this thing working, Setting, resetting, rebooting, and having to reestablish everything over and over again in my smart home. Hours with tech support only to keep going through the same steps I have for days ....I have had this whole system less than a week and hate it....I am going to return. Not worth the price tag

Easy set up

I have FiOS so I set up my Orbi using the extended mode. Instructions were extremely easy, and it connected to my WiFi immediately. Once connected you will no longer see the Netgear_Ext WiFi link, it will return you to your WiFi settings. Upon connecting you get a message which says you are successfully connected, however when I looked on my phone’s WiFi settings I was expecting to still see the Orbi WiFi settings but it was no longer there, so I thought I was not connected. I was a little confused, so I contacted support who confirmed I was actually connected. I placed the Orbi Satellite on the back of my house and I am now able to receive WiFi in my backyard well over 100’. I hooked up my Ring on my shed and have had service without interruption since. I did notice I am not able to receive WiFi in the front of my house although I don’t really care about that, but it makes me think the Orbi can not transmit through several walls.

Horrible for Gaming

One of the most frustrating routers I've ever used. Lag spikes every 30 seconds or so. A lot of other people are also experiencing this issue with their ORBI (just do a quick search).

Great Coverage and Signal Strength!

Installed the ORBI RBR50 in our 2500 square foot home which suffered from weak Wi-Fi signals due its length and a Sun Porch shielded by interior brick walls. The system was very easy to install and setup. All devices throughout the house are now getting 150 to 800+ MBPS connections to the main router or satellite unit. For example, I have seen iPhones connect at 800+ MBPS. I suspect some of the lower speeds (but still fast at 150 MBPS) are only restricted by the individual device capabilities. My ISP connection is currently capped at 200 MBPS so this system gives us plenty of room for future growth and even faster internet access should we ever decide to increase our ISP connection speed.
