it appears to be a well made unit. for me right now it does have the desired effect. i have a metal building beside the house and i know that is the problem just having trouble finding the right location for this outdoor unit
Functionally, it works great and was easy to add to the Orbi network (I'm using it as a satellite). The only gripe I have is the form factor. It was more designed for setting it outside versus mounting it outside (mounting is possible with the included bracket). I would have liked a more industrial design for wall mounting and an internal power supply.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only took me about 10-15 minutes to hook up this new Orbi wi fi router. Works great and coverage is so much better now in my basement with the satellite

I recently changed from Netgear to Asus zenwifi xt9 tri-band mesh 2pack system based on reviews that I have read about how great this system is. I had nothing but problems with this system and Asus support was no help at all. I have since changed to Netgear Orbi and everything is working great. I now have a high dollar system setting in the closet. What a waste of money. I will never buy any Asus product again. Very pleased with Orbi.

Zoom freezes

I'm about ready to replace my Orbi Mesh because Zoom freezes for 5 seconds every couple minutes and I cannot reach NetGear support.

Upgraded my Orbi

New orbi with 2 satellites now reach into my upstairs and garage office where zoom calls couldn't be sustained even shutting down the video. Now everything is clear and faster taking advantage of my 1 gigabyte internet speed. Love my new orbi with its security and mobile app features. Recommend it highly as a technically advanced upgrade for your older orbi router. Get the speed and performance you are looking for. 5 star rating.

Thanks to the Orbi WiFi system I have enjoyed a wider range of the coverage and, very minimal signal lose and drop off's, and the speed is available, and I've never had any lagging, and I am definitely more than happy with the Orbi WiFi systems I have.
