Our router in one room, and my home office in another, few walls between. I’ve three types of extenders, and it didn’t work. Finally, one of my friend recommended me Netgear, because he has it at his home. It was my last chance, and it worked! Very happy with my purchase, thank you!

We have a primary and a satellite. The Primary is near the midpoint of the house and the satellite is at a distance. Both give us great coverage all over the house. And both are very reliable. This is a great choice to replace an older (and much less reliable) router. I'd recommend this router to anyone interested.

Orbi Wifi Mesh to the Rescue

I was using a combo modem/router for the last few years. Working from home was challenging because the home office was upstairs and the internet would be iffy in that room.
Eventually, I decided to spend a bit and get the router and satellite combo from Orbi. I now get over 150 mbps in the office, when I was only getting 20 Mbps before that. So much better!

We now have internet throughout entire house. Prior to Orbi the WiFi was spotty in bedrooms and lagged on our glassed in porch.Now we have a steady connection.Thank you we love it.

Good value

We switched to 1gb internet fiber optic and updated our router to take advantage of the speed. Went from 250mb/sec to 500 when close to the router wireless and 850 over ethernet with 950 speed test using the mobile app. The satellite in the basement gives an improved signal there and we haven't noticed any dropouts over the 1 week we have had it set up - set up was easy. I deducted a star because the full functionality of the router requires a subscription after a 30 day demo period which is a business model I despise. The TP Link router this replaced didn't do this. Feature like parental control were free on TP, not here. Internet security blocking suspicious sites is also not free. I knew this going in but still purchased because of price and our kids are grown up. I didn't trust TP Link anymore because of security concerns given the company ownership and reviews so changed brands. This 5ghz system had the best reviews for reliability. I also like that it has multiple ethernet ports on both the satellite and base, other options I considered did not have both. So far, we are happy with it, time will tell if it remains reliable like the one it replaced which was 8 years old and still performing like it did when new.

NETGEAR Has Us Covered

Our three generation household, with frequent visiting family, having a variety of devices can finally relax, knowing Netgear has us connect with our internet provider! Grandpa in his bedroom with his Roku TV, grandson, whose telephone conversations are done in a pacing manner from the backyard to the front, me, and my little office, and my desktop and toddler with her entertainment iPad, no matter where, on the property, we are connected!!
Should a disconnect happen because of power outage, troubleshooting and reconnecting, has been made, simple and easily understood. Being so dependent upon her Internet service this is been a huge relief from frustration previously experienced. Thank you, Netgear.
