Wifi for everyone in house

We have a 3 level house with the main router on the upper level. The orbi is giving our wifi the boost it needs so everyone on every level can enjoy.

Great connection

I was using the new nighthawk and the speed was slow. I got the orbi and it is lightning speed now. So happy and will not go back to nighthawk

I would suggest you go out and buy one of these today! I struggled with wifi speed, intermittancy, and loss of connection for months with my new Lynksys router and extender I wasted my money on! After many hours on the phone with Lynksys, nothing changed. My Spectrum service tech suggested I try NetGear Mesh system. He said he has it and it works great. Needless to say, I wished I had known about this sooner. I am AMAZED at the change! Super Speedy and Coverage everywhere in our 3000 sq foot home from just the router and we put the one sattellite it that came with it in our steel barn across the driveway and the signal reaches. Absolutely recommend this product! 10 stars from this customer!

Easy Setup

The Orbi router was easy to setup and gives great Wi-Fi coverage in our home. For those of you who believe they need to separate the 2.4 and 5ghz bands, here is what I did for my setup. Before I did the setup of the Orbi, I created a list of items connected to my old router on the 2.4 band and another list of what was connected on the 5ghz band. When I set up the Orbi I used the 5ghz band SID and password from the old router and then setup the guest network on the Orbi using the 2.4 SID and password from the old router. After the Orbi setup was complete I took the lists I created from the old router and checked to see if everything connected. Everything connected including all my Ring equipment and an old wireless print server. Over the next few days, I gradually moved everything off the guest network I created and now everything is on the one Orbi SID. Having everything on one SID will make setting up new items on the network easier instead of having separate SIDS for the 2.4 and 5ghz bands. Love the Orbi and so far, it works great!

Initially I was sceptical weather to invest so much money on a router, but after using the router I feel I did the right investment. The router gives me a unique experience. Every corner of the house I get same signal strength and lightning speed. Thanks to Netgear for this innovative product.
