So far so good! But...

Setup was fairly straightforward and it's been working great so far. The only thing I'd change has to do with the way you packaged my RBK53 system. You put a little plastic ring on the top of the main router and each satellite that identified them. The only problem with this is that that transparent ring of slippery plastic is right where you'd naturally grab the device when taking it out of the box. Long story short, the ring slipped off and I immediately dropped my brand new router on a hardwood floor. It seems like it's ok, but it definitely scared me. If others do the same thing, you may have unexpected returns just because of the way you packaged the device.

Very satisfied with purchase

I was looking for a solution to replace my current setup which had an Apple Time Capsule and a Repeater. I was having issues where my phone wouldn't switch between the two gracefully... causing my phone to have poor reception when I'm on the opposite side of the house until I disconnect / reconnect.
Netgear Orbi solved that issue and was very easy to setup. I can't vouch for system stability yet as I've only had it for about a week, but so far so good. My house did take a power hit and the Netgear Orbi recovered fine + linked back up with the Satellite without needing my intervention.
The speed and range are excellent. So far, I am very happy with this product!

WiFi so good you forget about it.

The router from our internet provider had a very short range so I tried adding a network extender. The speed of the add-on extender was half the speed of the router. Next I ran ethernet wire from the router to the other end of the house and set up a second router. This solved the speed problem, but I had to constantly switch my devices back and forth between the two networks. Finally I replaced my main and auxiliary routers with the Orbi system and now I have a single, fast WiFi connection that extends from one end of my house to the other and beyond into the yard. The Orbi isn't cheap, but it's so worth it. I don't think about WiFi anymore and that's a good thing.

I had been experiencing brief web outages, tons of dropped connections, not to mention the buffering!! I kept blaming it on my service provider but then one day my router just stopped working. Went and splurged and got my Orbi. Life changing! No more WiFi boosters all over my house so I can have marginal security footage. This thing does the job with just the base and satellite and does the job exceptionally. My security cottage is clear, my movies stopped buffering just when the music was getting intense and no issues with my internet connections. This gem is worth every penny. Glad I made this purchase. I highly recommend and would buy again if I needed to.

Wow

I purchased and installed the Netgear Orbi last week. Wow, it has made such a difference! High-speed, fiber optic internet service recently became available near our home. We jumped at the opportunity to have it installed. We opted for the router offered by the provider. It was great if you were nearby, but it wasn't sufficient for the entire house. Our internet provider suggested a "mesh-router" and even offered to credit our account for the price of the original router and a $100 credit to help offset the price of a new router system. I just did a speed test using the Orbi app on my phone, Download speed - 314.06, Upload speed - 835.20! You can't argue with that!

Better than good

I have accumulated a mixed bag over the years try to ensure full and fast internet coverage through-out my house. It's a two story, 3600 sq.ft. house. I was running 3 Apple Airport routers and several Powerline adapters. The coverage was fairly good, but the speeds fluctuated.
The Netgear AC3000 is a home run. The base station is set up in the study at the very front of the house. One satellite is set up in the downstairs family room (mid-way across the house) and the second satellite is set up in the upstairs loft. I supposedly have 400Mps service. The lowest speed I've clocked from the farthest reaches of the house was 384Mbps. I'm more than delighted.

Having 6 kids and all kinds of devices spread all over our large house, I have been plagued by complaints that our internet sucks for years. I always get the latest and greatest router and extenders but nothing seemed to ever be good enough. Finally, I found Orbi and after reading some of the technical specifications and reviews, this sounded like just the system that could deliver me from the comments of disappointmemt thaf had come to be all too common place. From the first day that Orbi arrived, I havent heard a single complaint from anyone in the household. I am finally free of the nagging comments and text messages. Thank you NetGear for creating my Savior, Orbi.

Finally found it...

...the mesh system I've been looking for. I had Apple Airport routers scattered all over my house for the past 5+ years and for as long as I can remember I've had issues with the internet going in and out. I finally decided to ditch the Airports and invest in the Orbi. All of the reviews I read were very positive (only downside being price), so I bought it. It took me about 20 minutes to set up, and it was extremely easy to make my new network.
Since it's been up and running I've had zero issues and my internet is incredibly fast. I reached out to support once with a question and had my answer in about 5 minutes. I'm very happy with my purchase.
