So easy and much better wifi!

I live in an older L shaped house and due to the location of the cable line I had to put the router towards one end. I used extenders, but it never made it into the back bedrooms. Orbi does! I am not a tech person and it was easy to set up, love that it has an app to control everything from my phone, and it easily supports multiple devices. I think 6 is the record so far and haven't noticed any problems. If I could offer 2 suggestions it would be to provide parental controls for particular devices and to be able to control it while I am not home. Certain children are not great about obeying screen time limits and I wish I could just turn it off remotely.

ORBI AC3000

I had a two in one cable modem that went out so I purchased a new high end combo to replace it. I have whole home automation so a lot of wireless devices are hooked up to my WiFi system. The new combo worked intermittently on one level and nearly absent on my second level. I researched mesh systems verses wireless systems, and decided to go with the wireless system because you have dedicated routers instead of network extenders. I exchanged that for the ORBI AC3000 and I couldn't be happier. My entire home has the strongest internet wireless connection it ever has. All of my devices work perfectly, I ha e a strong signal on each floor and a guest WiFi.

Most Awesome Wifi!

My home wifi was using a very good name brand router, but I had numerous issues with network congestion, buffering and dropped connections. After looking at numerous mesh type systems I settled on the Orbi and I and very happy I did! My old setup needed a second access point to cover my home, causing a number of wifi issues. I have 200 gig at the cable service but was only getting about 85 gig at the router and as little as 5 at the back of the house. After my very quick and easy Orbi setup I now have over 200 gig throughout my entire home. The Orbi has been doing a great job of coverage and speed with no issues since the first install. Life is good again!

Best Home Networking Yet

You know, ever since I installed this 3-piece kit, I really haven't thought about it. That's very different than ever before. I've been using an ac1200 router for several years and, while better than anything I had before it, it was still always reminding me of it's wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey placey-...whatever existence. No signal here, really slow there...Not so with these NETGEAR Orbi High-Performance AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi System (RBK53) pieces. They were an easy install, they increased our measured internet speed from 58 Mbps to a consistent 114 Mbps, and they haven't whined once. Really. Zero down time. No reboots. Strong signal everywhere. Life is good!

Phenomenal and Superior

A must have for your network hands down. I am blown away by the performance and range of the RBR50 Orbi Mesh WiFi Router& Satellite system. We have a decent size 3 floor home, the gateway modem & Orbi router is on the third floor bedroom hooked upto the PC/SmartTV/Xbox1X and I placed the Satellite in the living room on the first floor without any issues linking. A remarkable router , 100 % signal strength regardless of where you are in the house which is important when you have a total of 15+ devices overall that connect wirelessly. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT PURCHASING THIS ROUTER, YOU WILL REGRET NOT BUYING THIS!!! A+++ product Netgear

Problem Solved

Purchasing Orbi is one of the best decisions I've made in awhile. My Comcast Internet was always rediculously slow with speeds of 5 to 50 Mbps in different locations around the house (using their Arris modem and one range extender) i couldn't stream in some rooms, no access in others and slow to connect "ring" at my front door (if at all). Now my speeds are well into the 120+ range all over, including the rear of my backyard where I never had signal before. What a difference! So easy to set up a "non-techie" like myself connected with ease. Yes, the units are rather large and price is a little high but well worth it. My expectations have been well surpassed.

Effortless improvement!

After reviewing the many options for mesh WiFi these days I settled on Orbi given everything I'd read online. Main concern for me was ability to have a good signal through some very dense walls. Not having a very large space, but instead a very linear space over two floors with the cable feed at one end meant I need the ability to push a strong signal through the floors and also boost at the other side. I went from having a very weak 4-5Mbps in the opposite corner of my space to having a consistent 3-400Mbps on a 500Mbps service.
Very happy with the now effortless WiFi that powers every smart home device, streaming 4K content, live camera feeds, etc

Works really well!

I've tried several options to maximize WIFI in my home (repeaters, mesh, etc.). And finally found a system that does it very well, and with NO loss of signal strength. That's the big thing with Orbi, the satellite does not take the signal and cut it in half, it uses a dedicated backchannel to provide the satellite its signal and it's the same strength as the Orbi main router. For my home that is 3,500s.f. and two stories, that has been the solution. I have many devices hooked up to it, too - smart TV's, laptops, iMac, phones, iPads, cameras, lights, and Sonos. The signal is strong, and each device seems to be operating at optimum strength. We love the Orbi!
