Great Quality

the quality of these products was amazing. i got the recommendation from my father who has a set and he said they work amazing! i wasnt sure at first if i would be able to set them up myself, but the set up was simple. the instructions walked me through it step by step and i was able to set these up faster than it took for my internet service to send the signal. I would recommend them to anyone and i have recommended them to anyone who has internet trouble. only issue is there needs to be a budget option just because they are expensive, but worth the price.

Awesome Orbi

My Orbi has been in service for a week. Setup was straight forward. Network speed is amazing! I'm running my satellite with an Ethernet backhaul. Only glitch thus far resulted from a brief storm related outage. This required me to re sync the router and satellite wirelessly, and then cut back to the Ethernet backhaul. It also required that all IOT devices had to be reconnected by forcing the wifi to drop, restart and sign back in. All network hardware is now on UPS for stability, and I hope to not repeat this! Still love the product, speed and amazing coverage.

Why did I wait this long?

I have 3 floors and am an engineer who loves to dabble in fine tuning router settings and using power lines when a room does not have enough throughput. But over time, WiFi speed usually ends up slowing down till the next reboot. So, this holiday season, I decided to invest in one of these Orbi sets. And my home feels like one of those dream places with super fast WiFi everywhere! A quick setup was all that was needed with these babies. I have removed my original modems and my power lines and yet it is 2x faster or more everywhere! I wish I had done this sooner.

Easy to set up

I decided to purchase the Orbi in order to provide better connectivity to wireless assets in the front of my home. My alternative approach to add a wired basestation through a much more difficult wired solution in an older home. The set up was very simple and relatively quick. It took a little bit of time to make sure all of my wireless devices were probably connected. The issue was my Epson Artisan 835 which took a little bit of time to figure out how to connect, but everything else was very quick. I was surprised and pleased as to how easy it was to set up.

Fixed my range/speed issues

I bought this to replace my Google Wifi mesh system that had poor range and speed unless you were within 15 feet of the main router. The Google Wifi satellite in my office was 5 feet from my work laptop and I was only getting 100 Mbps on a 300 Mbps plan. After I switched to the Netgear Orbi system with the main router and satellite in the exact same locations I am now getting full speeds on my work laptop (300 Mbps) connected to the satellite. That is 3x faster than Google Wifi. I would highly recommend this mesh system for speed and coverage in a large home.

Not Bad after second try

At the beginning I was kind of excited to try and see how reliable this product was. However, I ended up being frustrated and took it off and connected my old system back. In the mean time I waited 2 days and decided to give it another try before returning the product. I got to say I'm glad I did; I took my time and hooked it up and as of now the system works just great no issues, speed I do get what I pay for set up very easy and it dos have so many options and settings, from VPN to parental control. In other words yes it does a good job and works just great.

A Huge Upgrade

With tons of streaming, gaming, cell phone, speaker, security cameras and other devices, we were lagging when it came to speed and reliability using our awesome ASUS router. It had served itself well but an upgrade was long overdue. The Netgear ORBI was the right choice. We shopped for over a month considering all the options that are on the market for whole home coverage. ORBI had everything we needed. It handles all of our electronics with room to spare and covers not only our home footprint but a short walk with the dog as well! You wont be disappointed.

Best System

We bought a couple different wifi systems to try out including the Google WiFi (I'm a huge Google fan) and the Linksys Velop as they were both cheaper. Well both of those were only dual band (not the greatest for a house full of smart devices) and didn't have the range we were looking for. We decided to return those and we spent a little extra money on the orbi, and even with just two devices (the main router and the satellite) it covers the whole house! I'm amazed at how simple and effective this system is for whole home coverage!! I highly recommend this product!
