Major upgrade

I recently upgraded my FiOS to gigabit and found the wireless performance of the built-in modem lacking. after performing some research I settled on the orbi mesh Network and couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase. My coverage is amazing literally down to the end of my driveway and the speeds coming from my network are also amazing. Having be available hard wire ports also help support my 4k TV speeds and the app shows for easy setup and control over my whole system. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to substantially upgrade their Wireless!

Orbi RBK50 and Netgear Cable Modem (CM1000-100NAS)

Netgear Cable Modem (CM1000-100NAS). I had Xfinity installed and the wireless speeds were what was promised except the coverage was dismal. Now after my Netgear purchases my speeds and wireless coverage are excellent inside and outside, and I was able to return their cable modem so no more monthly rental. The installation was very straight forward, did not require a lot of computer knowledge and was not time consuming. I would recommend these products.

Orbi RBK50

I recently changed my ISP and received a less than stellar WiFi router. I couldn't go farther than 20 feet and the signal would drop. Growing frustrated, I researched and purchased the Orbi RBK50 2 pack. How satisfying it is to have a dependable signal throughout the house. I liked it so much, I purchased an additional satellite to gain complete coverage in my house. I couldn't be happier than most newlywed couples. The signal strength is amazing and no loss of latency. I highly recommend the Orbi system. Don't second guess yourself, buy it now!!

After a lot of research and finally deciding between Google WiFi or Netgear Orbi, we purchased Orbi. Orbi is simply faster, better made and has not failed our brandwidth needy home once. The extra Ethernet ports are actually a nice necessity as it allowed us to configure perferials with reliability. The WiFi reach and speed is simply the best. The additional service, Circle is great and worth the subscription. Seriously. I still spend more on coffee. Overall Netgear is the standard and looking forward to see how they can continue to improve the product line.

Orbi Wireless Review

The orbi wireless unit I purchased is amazing. I replaced an Airport Extreme and Airport Express setup and the mesh network stuff is awesome. I have a 2800 sq ft house and two units more than covers everything. On an iPhone I can consistently get over 400 Mbps on Speed Tests through my ISP (Ethernet I'm getting around 900 Mbps). The only negative I would say is the web page to do advanced things is rather clunky and the mobile app doesn't allow you to configure everything (if you are an advanced user you will need to use the web page administration page).

Incredible Speed!!!

I was amazed at the difference this made. My speeds were running anywhere from 90 to 138, depending on where I was in my home. Even with two extenders placed. Now, not only do I have the wifi speed I've been paying for...its consistent throughout my home. My speeds are now running 436 (I have the 400 speed package) my house is 2200 square feet with an upstairs loft. I even have coverage outside at my pool. I'm amazed at the difference. No more freezing movies when streaming on any tv in my home. I can't say enough this product. Worth every penny!!!

Excellent option for split level coverage!

I previously used an enterprise access point in our two story town home and it just was not cutting it. I would get coverage drops and performance degradation in the outer second story rooms. Not wanting to run any new cables, I decided to explore mesh options. The two unit Orbi system has been a game changer. I get the full bandwidth of my ISP service everywhere in my house. My kids' streaming music no longer drops off in the middle of the night, and I no longer have to switch to LTE to browse social media in bed. Easy setup and excellent performance!

Does Everything I Asked Of It

I bought this to wirelessly connect my home server, which had previously had a direct ethernet connection, to my wired home network from one floor below. I don't simply use this as a wireless system for all my wireless devices, but also as a backhaul for that server to the larger network. While I was concerned with its ability to connect down one floor and laterally over one room, it has done so without issues. I am able to use my home server for all the things I was before the move to wireless, and that's really a testament to how powerful the Orbi system is.
