Solid performance for large house

I bought an Orbi system to replacea previous home router and access point combination. The performance of the new system for exceeds the old one, getting WiFi all the way out to my garage, a brick building ~60 feet from house.
I also really like the ability to set up a VPN server using the router configuration, that's an awesome feature I didn't see publicized.

Excellent product from a great company

I am very pleased with the orbi system it has enhanced my WiFi tremendously with the satellite WiFi added in it has allowed my devices to connect much easier and with my current mocha setup it has boosted my internet speed for streaming. This router covers 5000 sf which I can get a signal in my basement with no issues and all the way across my house in my bedroom.

Fast connection, no dead zones

Everything works as advertised. High speeds and easy set up. Have tried other similar systems and this one is giving me noticeably faster WiFi speeds. Only two points could be improved. First, the default should not be to make the admin password the same as the WiFi password. Second, there should be the option of making admin accessible only via wired connections.

Outstanding Home Mesh Wi-Fi

As an IT Manager I am normally not impressed with home Wi-Fi solutions. However; the NetGear Orbi system outperforms all others and offers simple management and configuration. I have told of of my peers to use this solution and they love it as well. You can't go wrong if looking for a whole house mesh Wi-Fi system with a single SSID that outperforms all others!

Best Purchase

With having our main fiber router in our central closet our performance was hampered. So after researching mesh systems, Orbi was the best option. We have gigibit fiber so wired we had performance wirelessly until now it was lacking. We now have full coverage in our home and the ability to add an outside module to increase coverage. This was the best purchase.

Supercharged my internet

This is the best product in terms of range I can get the stable Wi-Fi signal about a quarter of a mile from my house. It was a breeze to set it up. I am getting about 10 - 15 MB more speed even with about 15 devices connected at the same time. There is no lag while streaming media from YouTube or Spotify. Excellent product if you have a large house. Thanks Netgear.

Great mesh WiFi system

Our WiFi had been struggling for quite some time in our 2-story house. With 4 computers and 4 cell phones accessing WiFi simultaneously, the signal was constantly weak for everyone. Orbi to the rescue! I bought the Orbi with one router and one satellite, and that was enough for my 2500 sq ft 2-story home full of walls. Everyone in the family is now happy as a clam.

Love the Orbi, easy to set up. One thing that I did notice and this was a setup error on my part. I have the Google home and I set up a guest Network and attached the Google home to it. My Google home was not detected by the Google home app. All I had to do was move it to the proper network and it solved my issue. Hopefully this helps someone with the same problem.
