[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always wanted an induction cooktop. This Frigidaire induction is everything I hoped it would be and then some. Really, really fast to boil and the layout of pot and pan sizes and locations are very well planned - far superior to the competitors layouts and size configurations.

Good quality for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second frigidair induction cooktop we’ve owned. The first sustained blow and cracked. Overall I like this one just fine, big enough that you can have multiple pots on at once. I don’t love the tempature control slide thing. I’d rathet have a more straightforward up/down button.

Amazing Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cooktop for a new granite countertop. It cooks quicker than my old gas cooktop and it looks much better and cleans far easier. The controls are easy to use and work well. I am very happy with this cooktop.

Love induction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first induction cooktop and I really love how quickly pans heat up. Boiling water is like magic compared to my old electric cook top. I like that I can instantly change the temperature and it responds so quickly. My one complaint is that I have only had it a little less than two months and the top is already scratched. I've been very careful to not move pans around or drop anything on it.

Prior to using your cooktop for the first time, apply a ceramic cooktop cleaning cream (available in most hardware, grocery and department stores) to the ceramic surface. Clean and buff with a clean paper towel. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. Cooktop cleaning creams leave a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions. You are able to locate additional cleaning tips on page 17 in the Use and Care Guide.
Also, coarse particles such as salt or hardened soils between cooktop and cookware can cause scratches. Be sure the cooktop surface and bottoms of cookware are clean before use. Small scratches do not affect cooking and will become less visible with time. We certainly hope this information was helpful to you.

First time using induction... love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a previous Frigidaire cooktop that had a crack. The install was easy, as the measurements were the same as my old cooktop. This is the first time I have used induction and I absolutely love it! Very fast reheating. The self sizing element is a great add feature. Clean up much easier, because the food doesn’t get cooked on. Price was a pleasant surprise. I had to buy another Frigidaire because of the granite cutout..... and the price was much cheaper than the competition!

Cookware problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like my new cooktop and I am new to induction cooking. When I ordered this cooktop, I wasn't aware that special cookware had to be used. I was the owner of a 1977 set of Townecraft cookware that is lifetime guaranteed and was still in excellent shape. This cookware would not work with my cooktop. When I checked with Townecraft about the cookware, I was told that the older cookware does not work with induction cooktops. Since I liked my cookware, I traded it in for a new set that would work with my new cooktop at a cost of over $2,000. The new cookware works well with the cooktop and I am enjoying cooking with it. I'm writing this review to let potential buyers know that your cookware may need to be replaced if you buy an induction cooktop.
