Considering the cost of other high end induction cook tops, after considerable research, this induction cook top came out on top.

Excellent Cooktop

After two Mieles sequentially died of old age (5-7 years each) I purchased this Frigidaire model. It has performed flawlessly, matching the experience I had with the Mieles for almost 1/3 the price. I only miss the timed cook feature, and appreciate the slightly more audible timer tone.

Great Gallery Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new cooktop - great for a back up for extra cooking space. Not loving the slide controls - much prefer the knobs on my other new Frigidaire cooktop - but this one is a great size and works fine, now that we got the eye plugged in. Technician was here within a day or so after we reported that one eye wouldn't work - got it fixed in 10. Hope to enjoy this cooktop for a long while.

Lives up to the hype

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time she cleaned up spills or grease spatters on our gas cooktop, my wife wife would mutter about wanting to replace it with an induction cooktop. Convinced that gas was untouchable as the best way to cook, I resisted. After surviving a small explosion when a small particle blocked a gas vent on one of the burners, reading concerns about gas contributing to respiratory problems, and doing some research, I relented and bought this Frigidaire cooktop. We definitely do not regret making the change. Aside from the ease of cleanup with the seamless glass top, the cooking performance of this induction stove was a pleasant surprise. The heat control outperforms gas, a pot of water comes to a boil in less than 2 minutes (more than twice as fast as our old gas top), simmering performance easily beats gas, and did I mention how easy this is to clean up? The controls are easy to use and have no knobs to get in the way or clean up around, and to date we have found no negatives whatsoever other than having to replace a couple of aluminum pots that don’t work with induction. This unit was more affordable than comparable ones from other manufacturers and has all the features we were interested in. Very happy with our choice.
