[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Change from gas to "induction cooking" is different but not difficult and have a lot more benefits. I love the change i made about a month ago.
When i mentioned it to my brother in the Netherlands that i made the change, he said i do induction cooking for the past 10 years and want nothing else.

Solid, economical cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our older Frigidaire induction cooktop (the glass had cracked.) So far, so good - it is a bit more powerful than the previous one and burner sizing also adjusts to the pan, within a range. Having the largest burner in the center is also a plus. The controls can be a little bit of a challenge - they're quite sensitive to moisture and water/food drips that land on the control panel can activate buttons unintentionally. The sliders can also be a little finicky as others have mentioned (especially with wet hands.) Overall, happy with this purchase.

Better than gas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I retired my aging and expensive Bosch gas cooktop and purchased this induction model. We were tired of cleaning the gas burners and grates and the well underneath that captured and baked on all the cooking debris. It took oven cleaner and elbow grease to get it clean and the aluminum scratched. All we do now is wipe off the glass top with a sponge after each meal. My wife likes the sleek look. As a serious home cook, I’m impressed with the power and range of the burners. The P setting boils water faster than my biggest gas burner and the low settings are much lower than a flame can go, which is great for butter or chocolate. They heat more evenly than my gas unit too. I did have to donate a few aluminum pans, but I don’t mind an excuse to buy a new pan or two ;) I appreciate the simple and intuitive controls too. I don’t need wi-fi to fry an egg. Overall, I’m super happy with this unit and have zero complaints!

Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has severe asthma and recent articles about the possible exacerbation of asthma symptoms and gas stove / cooktops in the home prompted us to replace our five-burner gas cooktop with a Frigidaire 36" induction unit. It did require the installation of a dedicated 220 power supply but we are delighted with the cooktop. It looks amazing, just a flat panel of black glass; in fact, we're getting new granite countertops installed and the technician said they can seat the cooktop seamlessly into the granite so it will all be smooth, single flat surface with no apparent edges. Given the increasing reports of the negative health effects of indoor sources of gas, switching to this Frigidaire unit was the right thing to do, absolutely. In use the unit is as impressive as it looks; the controls are simple, the rate at which food cooks is almost unreal, and cleanup is as easy as wiping a damp sponge across the cooled surface. For reasons of health, aesthetics and ease of food preparation and cleanup, we could not be happier, or more satisfied, with this Frigidaire product!

36" Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smoothtop is very easy to clean due to the induction heating because it does not scorch liquids onto the surface and touchscreen controls because there are no buttons to clean around. The power boil setting boils a large pot of water in just a few minutes.
