[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for a few weeks and it is wonderful! I can't believe how fast it heats and boils water! I love how easy to clean it is. If you go into it knowing you need magnetic cookware, the cooktop does make a slight hum (which is fine). The slide dial for the different heat settings is a little annoying, I wish you could be more direct when you wanted to go up or down a number instead of trying to guess where that number falls on the slider, but I do love not having any physical dials. And I love how much less expensive the frigidaire models are than ALL other brands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for our recent home renovation. We had the cookware required so it was the choice since gas was not available. Works as advertised and will boil water in a minute.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this cooktop 9 months ago during our kitchen renovation. I absolutely love it. We did have to buy compatible cookware but that was fine by me. Once you have cooked on induction you will never go back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very much like the touch controls (give me a whole worksurface to play with) and the auto pan sensing feature. The ability of the induction to heat extraordinarily quickly is not under-stated but also to reduce heat quickly as well (almost exactly like cooking on gas). The amount of literature given over to what is need to keep the surface clean seems a little daunting & worrying and the fact that the rings keep trying to turn themselves on every time I damp-wipe the surface clean is a little annoying. Otherwise an excellent product after a month of use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this is an excellent cook top and replaced my old electric cook top. Fits well into my kitchen with a nice trim, sleek look. The modern look is exactly what I was looking for. Controls are straight forward and easy to use. The power setting to initially start cooking large pots of food is a great feature and helps cut down on the overall cooking time so your food is not over cooked. The hot burner indicator, which is set after the pot is removed, is good as it warns you that the pot has heated the burner area and keeps you from putting something on that burner. The sealed top is easy to clean with just a wipe of a damp cloth. The low profile also makes it easy to wipe down the cabinet around the cook top. A definite positive recommendation for this cook top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this based on the size of the hole in our granite that was cut for an Electrolux. The Frigidaire was the only other cooktop that wouldn't fall through the hole. It was less than half the price of a new Electrolux but got much better reviews. I love the sliding controls. My only complaint is that it is a little louder Thani thought it would be....sort of a humming that we haven't heard with the Electrolux.
