Cooks like a dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace our old radiant glasstop stove, which we'd always hated. We had always dreamed of a gas stove but it would have required a full kitchen remodel--just too expensive. However after cooking on this new stove, I have to say it is better than gas. The temperature adjusts just as quickly as gas, and you have more control over the temperature than on many gas stoves, where you basically have to eyeball the flame. On our old radiant cooktop, the temperature was extremely difficult to control and we often burned food because of it. With the induction cooktop, it heats the pan so evenly and you can make a pot go from a rapid boil to not boiling in a few seconds. I love that the induction burners don't get super hot - no fire hazard and easy to clean. We did have to replace our cookware but we were aware of that going in, and it was well worth it.

Works great at a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very happy with the cooktop so far. It takes a bit of getting used to cooking with induction but everything works as advertised. There is a small hum at high power but once you start to cook something or turn the kitchen vent on it is not noticeable at all.

I'm in love!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I saw this cooktop demo-ed I knew I had to have it in the remodeled kitchen I was planning. I'm not a great cook - my late husband did most of the cooking at our house, fabulously, I might add - but this cooktop is easy to use, makes meal prep quick work when time is short, and cleanup is a breeze. I'm back to cooking and loving it.; trying new recipes, etc., and just learning what all my Frigidaire will do. And it's beautiful, too! I find myself smiling every time I use it. I really wish my daughter had an induction cooktop like this; as a working mother of two young children, she could really use it.
