Best Cooktop we have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks really great on our dark granite counter top - with the completely flat surface you barely know its there which we love. Controls are straight forward and easy to use. Auto size selection is great. The power boil is incredible Cleanup is breeze. There is a bit of learning curve on which settings to use for particular cooking tasks however. You do have to learn to adjust your cooking habits though, you don't have anywhere near as much prep time as you do would with an electric or gas cooktop since it is ready so quickly.

Great cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace an old cooktop. This was easy to install, looks nice, and cooks well. I am amazed at how quickly water boils. Some of my pans are louder than others, but the noise is reasonable.

So fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed the cooktop and an electrician connected it - and I fried the first eggs. It is incredibly fast compared to the gas stove.
I have to say, we did lift the glass and checked the location of the magnets as suggested by so many online postings and sure enough, four of the five were totally out of place. Fortunately, all of the little rubber boots were still there, and none of them got lost in the electronics. We wiggled them back into their brackets, attached the magnets properly, and put the cover on again. Voila, was a matter of 30 min, not a big deal.
Possible that other cooktops do not have that issue, but the price/value you get with this frigidaire model is unbeatable. The autodetection for the pans/pots works impeccably, a small pot on the big "burner" is not a problem.
We are very happy!

Randomly shuts off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a good product. However, it randomly shuts off when using it. If I wipe up a spill it beeps and shuts down. Sometimes it does it for no reason at all. It’s very inconvenient.
