Great Cook top

Best cooktop on the market

As good, or better, than any other induction cooktop on the market. I have owned more expensive units and they do not add anything above what this one has. The unit is actually made by Electrolux.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The left front burner only works if another burner is also being used. I don't know if this is by design or a flaw in my unit. Other than that I LOVE it. It's beautiful, very easy to keep clean, and much healthier for the kitchen environment than the gas stovetop that was in the house when we bought it.

Just like a gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an electric cooktop with this induction-type because we were unable to run a gas line to the kitchen when we moved into our home. Having never used induction before, I was interested after reading the reviews about them. The reviews are true -- it is very easy to use and virtually the same as gas. The heat adjusts as quickly as gas, and there is no worry about an open flame. The design is sleek-looking and the glass is sturdy.
The only drawback is that it streaks easily when cleaning and I can't seem to ever get the streaks completely removed (maybe it's just me) after using multiple cleaners and cloths. Having said that, I would definitely buy this again. I enjoy using this very much.

Great induction stove top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using induction cooking for the last 15 years. Technology has improved during this time and this stovetop is amazing! The power setting boils water faster than the microwave! The low settings are great at melting chocolate or keeping things warm. I love the number of "burners" . It is very easy to keep clean and looks so lovely in my new house.

Cant find the right pans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks of this stove top and it cleans beautifully. I only have the problem of finding the correct cookware. We had to have all the guts replaced because it wasnt heating up on the front burners. Now that it is fixed it sure doesnt boil water near this fast. The tech had a pan from Frigidaire that worked great but you cant buy them anymore from here. I spent alot of money on pans that work but the water doesnt boil like this!!! So if it did and I could find the correct cookware I would rate it higher

This cooktop is a great replacement for gas burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kitchen has a pop up ventilator installed in the cabinet right behind the cooktop. Turning on the ventilator tended to snuff out the gas burners. This doesn’t happen with our new induction range. We also like the responsiveness and intuitive controls of this cooktop. Very well thought out by Frigidaire.

Good for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We choose because we wanted a induction cooktop without spending a ton of money. This is worth the money. You do have to have good quality cooking pans to make it work well. Without the good quality cookware you can't boil water or even get bean hot.
