My first induction cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire Gallery 36" cooktop looks great in my remodeled kitchen. This is my first induction cooktop having changed from gas. This cooktop rated better than most for an entry level appliance with the promise of being a fast and efficient way to cook. The only issue I have is that the center cooking element is very slow, in fact 4 times slower to boil water then the side elements. Additionally, the cooking zone of the center element is considerably off center from the pattern printed on the cooktop. I was looking forward to having the bigger center element but in the end I do not use it because its too slow.

Loving my new induction cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I am in love with my new Frigidaire 36" Induction Cooktop. I love using parchment paper between the cooktop and the pots and pans. It makes clean up so much easier since any splatters or spills land on the parchment paper. My cookware will last longer and stay cleaner by using the parchment paper. I am still getting use to the no having dials and although there is a power boil button which is suppose to bring things to a boil faster, I have not found that it is that much faster. My mom and I are still getting use to sliding our finger across the control panel to adjust the temperature for the burners. I do love how quickly the food stops cooking when the power is turned off. I love the heat indicator light indicating the burner is hot. I did get a silicone mat cover for the cooktop for protection.

36" Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time induction user, and I can say that it's been amazing. The Power Boil feature cuts your cooking time in half. And you can pinpoint your cooking temperature and get perfect results every time. I have 2 minor issues: 1 - I wish you could + or - the setting by 1 instead of guessing where to press your finger. 2 - Grease spatter can sometimes change your settings... I know, just press lock and you won't have that problem. So Overall, I love this cooktop and will never go back to the old element cooktop, or gas.
