Wow! Why did we wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought this cooktop to replace our 40-year old 30" electric cooktop. We only had to cut out one additional inch in the width of the counter to give us a much larger cooktop. We were trying to decide between gas or induction. The choice to go induction was absolutely the right one. We can't believe we didn't do it sooner. This cooktop was easy to install and it works great! The instant and controllable heat has made cooking much easier. The touch screen functions are easy to control and make cleaning up after a meal a breeze. We are sold on induction cooking!

Better than our GE Induction Cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a new home with a gas cooktop - we swapped that cooktop out for a Frigidaire induction cooktop. It was highly rated in Consumer Reports and we knew from prior experience that induction was the way to go.
Cons (start with those first): The controls only allow "whole number" increments whereas our old cooktop allowed half number increments.
Positive: This cooktop is more powerful than the GE. It does not seem stressed when using all five burners at the same time - the GE power cycled when using all five and it was obvious. The surface is easier to clean. There is a "powerboil" feature for all five elements that allows rapid heating of your pot for boiling water for pasta or cereal - very helpful. The cooktop has an on-off switch as well as a lock button which helps if you have children in the home.
All in all, we really have enjoyed this cooktop. We made an investment beyond the cost of the home and believe it is well worth it. The best part - the new cooktop was more attractively priced than the GE or Bosch, and especially more so than the Thermador or other boutique appliances.

We should have bought this years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace glass electric cook-top, but they were all too 'tall' which would impede on a drawer under the cooker. Found your 36" induction cook-top that was only 2+ inches deep, perfect for the application. We performed the installation ourselves, very quick and easy. After using this for a month, I can't believe the difference from the old electric unit. The Frigidaire induction system is super fast at cooking; we can boil 2-cups of water in less than two minutes, far faster than even a gas range or microwave. Great Product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is amazing. Best kitchen remodel purchase I made. I love the deisgn and modern look. Water boils in less than 2 minutes, the burners stay clean, and I can cook in less time. I'm in love with mine. Also, I bought the Frigidaire vent to match the cooktop. It looks like perfection.
