[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cook top is very efficient and clean up is very easy. One recomendation I would have is on the cut out instructions for the counter top. Is that the cut out be no larger than 34" wide and 20 1/2 inches in depth. When the installers came the the 34 1/4" I had cut out appeared rather large of this 36" stove top. If one cuts a cut out to be 36 1/8" as shown in the cut out instruction on on you web site it may possibly be to larger or need addional supports for the cook top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit two months ago to replace my propane cooktop. First impression: it's sleek. Second impression, it heats super fast, So fast that I boiled over a few times, and I am still trying to adjust my cooking procedure for this cooktop. BTW, I wish that this unit has a catch basin, so that I don't have to clean so hard after boiled over.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using induction cooktops for the past 25 years. I purchased this unit to replace an out-of-order induction cooktop because of identical counter cutout requirements. Before I decided to purchase this Frigidaire model, I did some research for user feedbacks and the reviews I read were generally good. However, a few users noted that the burner positions do not match the burner markings indicated on the glass top, and recommended checking the burner positions under the glass top before final hookup. That's exactly what I did and I found that 4 out of 5 burners and touch panel were out of alignment. As shown in the attached photos, there were loose rubber pads and retaining clips inside the chassis. After carefully repositioning the burners and touch panel, I reassemble the glass top and completed the final hookup. The unit actually worked as intended and I have been using it daily since 04/20/21. Pros: Nicely finished glass top; Easy-to-clean surface; Useful quick-boil (Power) feature; Cons: There is a slight delay between the touchpad action and the burner activation; It takes several attempts with the touchpad to find the desired power level on any given burner; If not for fact that the burners and touchpad required realignment, I would have given higher ratings to this new cooktop.

Hi, Captain W. Thank you for sharing the details of your experience. It’s unfortunate to hear of the hurdles you have encountered with your new cooktop. Regarding some of your concerns, your cooktop has a sensor to detect cookware in the cooking zone. The cooking zone will not become active without proper cookware in position. Check out the “Pan Sensing” section of your Use & Care manual for helping tips. Also, it is recommended that you lower the requested power level setting before correcting a pan sensing error, then reset the zone to the desired power level. If conditions preventing operation are not corrected, your cooking zone will automatically turn off after two minutes. Should you need anything, feel free to join us via Live Chat. -Derrick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first induction range. We love it! It boils water so quickly and the heat can really be precise. I have no complaints so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love it. It works great, looks great, and was simple to install. Love how fast it boils water and the auto size feature is a great bonus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I splurged on this cooktop, which I really didn't need as my former one worked just fine, but I'm so glad I did! It is so easy to clean, with no knobs, and heats the food so fast! Cuts down on kitchen time ... LOVE it!
