Nice Except For Controls and Icemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built and moved into a new home with Bosch appliances two months ago. The B26FT50SNS refrigerator looks good, is quiet, has good storage and keeps things at proper temperatures. However, the control panel is awful. We have to press the water and ice buttons 2-5 times to get them to work. There is no audible, tactile or visible feedback to indicate a button was actually pressed so there is no telling if we are pressing it hard enough. Sometimes when you want crushed ice you get cubes anyway. For some mysterious reason the temperature control allows you to set temperature to odd values only - 45, 43, 41, 39, 37, etc. And the doors, specifically the left one, have a funky flap on the edge that can cause it to not close. So we would not recommend this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far kind of disappointed with this. 3 other Bosch products we are very happy with. Components on this are cheaper. Also have had problems with the water/ice despensor - several times it has not shut off - had to open the door (sometimes multiple times) to stop ice or water from coming out

Cool Runnings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Bosch product we have purchased, but after installation, it has performed magnificently. The refrigerator has well appointed drawers for vegetables and deli meats. Ice production is quick. Controls are intuitive, and the open door alarm is a nice touch.

Excellent Refrigerator

Large capacity. With a little bit of work to get the shelves out and back in, I was able to configure the space to work very well for my household needs. Lots of excellent features, including large hydrators and deep door bins. Easy to see and reach most items. Good lighting. There are a few things I would have designed differently. I was disappointed this model did not come with a retractable shelf to make more room for tall items. The deli/dairy drawer could use some dividers (ideally movable ones) to prevent items from sliding around and could be just a little taller, to allow stacking two yogurts or fit a cottage cheese container. The egg tray doesn't fit well into the door bins. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the shelves to a good height to use the wine wave without wasting vertical space. The top freezer drawer could use some movable dividers to prevent items from shifting. There should be a way to reach into the ice bin and pull out what you need instead of having to use the dispenser.
