Our 3rd Bosch Appliance

As we are still thrilled with it Bosch dishwasher after 19 years and our Bosch gas range after 5 years, we were pretty sure we wanted a Bosch refrigerator when the time came. We researched all brands and are beyond pleased with our purchase. This refrigerator is simply elegant and well made. The features are timeless, and there aren't all the latest fad gadgets that can break. I'm sorry to read some unhappy reviews and cant help but wonder if some of them are perhaps not legitimate purchasers. Whatever the case, we are certainly satisfied at our home.

Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like to refrigerator. The side by side doors are nice for opening only a part of the fridge. The drawers for fruits and vegies are deep and hold a lot of food. The bottom drawer across the bottom of the fridge can't be opened unless both doors are open, so we do wish that was different.
The front panel for water is not as user friendly as our whirlpool, but it is easier to clean. To get water to come out, you need to double click on the button and wait 5 seconds for water to finally come out. Maybe this is a safety feature, but I find it too slow.

The Freezer locates on the bottom of the appliance is great. I wasn't sure I would like digging in the deep drawers, but it works if you stack items vertically. I often forget the narrow drawer is there, but that is ok.

BOSCH - 800 Series Stainless Stl B26FT50SNS Fridge

Just got my new Bosch fridge installed, and my family really loves it! The sleek design and quality really reflects the integrity of this awesome French door fridge. We also have other 800 series Bosch kitchen appliances like the dishwasher and over the range microwave, and we are looking forward to completing the kitchen suite with a new slide in oven range. As for the fridge, there is plenty of space with it being 25-cu ft, and the lighting and control panel is easy to operate with this stunning front door panel that is not cheap by any means because it too is made of stainless steel which we really do love. We hope this refrigerator lasts for many years to come! I've always been impressed with Bosch products ! Some other great features is the fingerprint resistant stainless steel (which my wife really loves since we have two kids that like to put their hands all over everything lol) and the energy efficiency!
I would recommend this to a friend!

parts fail within 12 months-but it sure looks nice

Ice maker auger jams, plastic ice level control arm snapped, plastic door shelves cracked and broke apart-but the biggest failure is its inability to keep the main compartment below 40F. The sole purpose of a refridgerator is to keep food below its spoiling temp and they could not get that right. But the stainless steel sure is pretty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Came with the house unfortunately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start this review by saying that as a whole this refrigerator is "fine" it keeps food cold and the ice cream is never melted. The reason I personally can not stand this fridge is because of the built in water and ice dispenser. On the surface this may seem trivial, but when we purchased our house another model was supposed to be included, that did not have the water and ice dispenser in the door. That was a no go for us. We drink a ton of filtered water, we try to not buy plastic bottles, and drink protein shakes that require ice. This issue is the touch sensor on the fridge is atrocious. Sometimes to get the water to dispense I have to push the button multiple times. It's the same with the ice. It's beyond frustrating. When people come over for the first time I watch them fumble with pressing it and sometimes they think it's broken. In our previous house our 10+ year old fridge never had this issue. Also we have only had this fridge for 4 months and the alarm is already going off telling us the filter is almost ready to be changed. Again, this issue may seem trivial to some, but this is my review and honest opinion of this product.

We purchase a new construction home and this appliance was already picked out. We DID NOT choose it. We quickly became frustrated with the amount of ice it produced. It became clear that something wasn’t working right. We contacted the store it came from, they sent some one out and replaced the ice maker 4 times. Finally, Bosch replaces the refrigerator. We pleaded to choose a different refrigerator. We were happy to pay the difference. We were not allowed. We now have another subpar refrigerator. It works “better” than the one before. However, it produces very little ice. We have to purchase ice from 7-11 regularly. The buttons are very touchy. Because the ice maker is IN THE REFRIGERATOR, i throw out a lot of produce. It freezes things in the refrigerator regularly regardless of where it is placed on the shelf. I keep the refrigerator at 39 and freeze at 0. The ice maker also takes up valuable space in the refrigerator. The alarm on the refrigerator is very sensitive. It goes off while I’m unloading groceries. I don’t have anything positive to say about this appliance. I will NEVER buy another Bosch appliance and I tell everyone that comes in my home how awful it is.

Not my dream refrigerator

Bought all new appliances for our dream home. It’s a new build. The refrigerator makes all kinds of odd noises. The ice maker makes two cups of ice and that’s it for the evening. Fridge has small space on the inside. Highly disappointed in our purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
