good but not great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love all the pull out drawers and separate compartments; several in the freezer and several in the refrigerator part. The storage space suits our family but would be challenging for say a family of four or more. We love the frig on top and freezer on the bottom since we use the frig more and so it's more convenient.
The water filter location is cumbersome and difficult to replace. The ice bucket is also difficult to remove. To get water out of the dispenser isn't always easy; the pads/buttons aren't very reactive.
We're happy enough with our purchases but are now better educated on this type of appliance for the next time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So much to love about this Bosch Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of room, easy slide drawers and nice bright lights when you get inside. The outside is easy to care for, keep clean and a pleasure to see in the kitchen. The one aspect that kept it from getting a Five Star rating is the ice maker. It's very loud, the main ice maker doesn't make/store enough ice, and is difficult to remove the ice tray to store extra ice somewhere else. AND you have to use two hands to get ice and water out of the despenser because the ice will knock your cup over when it distributes ice into your cup. Other than the ice maker, I LOVE this refrigerator, I even brag about it and have told anyone who will listen this is the next refrigerator to purchase when they are ready to buy.

Great core features with finicky features

Beautiful finish and cooling features for food. Solid and durable drawers. However, Door does not move to close. You have to push them closed and they bounce open often. The alarm goes off much of the time you are looking for food, it's too sensitive. In the summer months, even slight increase in humidity and temp in the house and the unit does not keep up. Worse, the defroster design is inside the freezer, icing over and causing cooling issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Room for everything!! When we moved in there was a GE Profile large side by side refrigerator that was awful. We ended up purchasing an extra refrigerator for the basement because we could not fit everything. When we cleaned out the GE before delivery of our new Bosch, and then put everything into the new Bosch, we couldn't believe how much extra space we had.
We are a family of six and my husband was a chef, so we always have a full refrigerator. I love not having to run to the basement for food that wouldn't fit.

Great Refrigerator with plenty of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really appreciate the amount of space in this Refrigerator and how well it keeps the food inside. My very small improvements would be to have an easier way to access the full ice bucket. It is very hard to open that compartment. And for the water to flow a bit faster from the refrigerator door. It is rather slow and a small stream of water. I have not been able to find an adjustment that will allow the water to flow faster so it doesn't take so long to fill up a glass. But just know I love the Refrigerator, the size, and how well it keeps the food and those are extremely important features.

Stopped working after 5 years
