Fridge froze and locked up/shut down

We had this refridgerator for approxiamately 4 1/2 months before it started making a horrible noise and then quit working completely! Right during our Christmas holidays, which really stunk but at least we were able to keep our food in coolers outside in the cold. Although some refridgerator items like lunch meat and cheese froze from the cold outside so we lost quit a bit of food still.
The company we bought it from sent someone out to look at it and that guy said for some reason the freezer was not dethawing and had frozen over and blocked the fan. He said he could not find the reason why but would order a board and replace it. That took 2 weeks to get replaced. Now 4 1/2 months later it has done it again!!!! This is rediculous!! This time it was the middle of summer and we lost a ton of food!!! The same guy came back out again and he said again that nothing was showing up wrong but he would replace 2 boards this time. I have very LITTLE confidence in this refridgerator and am very dissatisfied! I would like an explaination as to why a brand new refridgerator from what a thought was an excellent company would break down like this twice. I hope I hear something about this and what is going to be done about all the food we lost through these episodes. The company we bought it from has written up a report to keep a record because if it happens again we will be getting a new one I hope but they have done nothing to replace all of the lost and spoiled food.
As of yet, I have not spoken out about this to the different social web formats I am affiliated with but if nothing is done to correct this I will have too just to make sure others don't bother buying a bosch refriderator.
Very dissatisfied customer as of now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Temperature true to settings. Sleek design, no hinges. Love the fingerless print doors. Great if you had children or messy adults.
The water and ice dispenser does take about 8 - 10 seconds before you get water or ice. Water is cold. Ice cubes run on the smaller size so I make extra and keep in the ice bin provided.

Refrigerator Not up to Reputation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a refrigerator in June, 2021. After delivered and plugged in, the freezer immediately started frosting up with the setting of -8. Top drawer in freezer does not keep things frozen and whole freezer is frosted up. Also the righ door is not same height as left and does not seal tight. After waiting for 3 weeks the repair man said he needs to order new parts for the defrost system and new hinges for right door. Said parts are taking weeks to arrive, so hopefully i will have a fully functioning refrigerator in 3 months after delivery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best refrigerator

Third home with this same refrigerator - love it!

I took out a 5 year old refrigerator that constantly have freezing issues and replaced it with this Bosch (my 3 homes now have the same great refrigerator). The freezer is spectacular (space, functionality) and the refrigerator is so well thought out. Most importantly, I trust it's going to do everything it says it would. I know that from a history with the Bosch refrigerator. If you're on the fence, this is a great leap of faith.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very excited about my new french door, bottom freezer fridge. So far it meets our expectations. It's roomy, the doors close nicely and freezer is very spacious. The water/ice dispenser is great too. The anti fingerprint finish is doing it's job as well! My only issue is the sides of the fridge seem to be coated with something that doesn't want magnets to stick well! We previously had a magnetic paper towel holder on the fridge and it doesn't want to stick. I bought powerful magnets thinking i would glue them on...they didn't work either. However, that doesn't affect the fridge's performance at all!! we love it!
