Energy worth paying for!

I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it.
Pros: Light came fully assembled, ready to use. I admit I was very skeptical of a light that gives you more energy. I was pleasantly surprised. They key to maximizing its potential is determining the time of day you need it most. I would put it on within 10 minutes of waking up for an hour (I work from home). It kept me energized through the morning and into the afternoon with ease, and my mood is definitely more pleasant as well. I recommend trying at different times of the day on different settings until you find what is best for you. I like the brightest setting best. While it is not the sun, it definitely provides the feeling of natural light. There is also an app with tips which was fun to use.

Cons: The price of this light would normally deter me from buying it. It WORKS, but with a product like this it is hard to spend that much money using blind faith. So I hope this review helps ease those insecure feelings. I also think that the light is slightly over sized. I would have liked to keep on my desk, but it is too bulky for that.
Overall Review: I really enjoy this product and do believe it works well. It is innovative and unlike anything I've really ever used before. I will definitely continue to use it. The app is a bonus that I enjoyed as well. If you can afford it, it is worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this lamp free so that I could use it and review that usage. Overall I thought that the lamp was aesthetically pleasing and functioned just as I thought it would. With that being said it was a bit bulky and I found it difficult to find a place to place it where it would be functional yet not in the way.
Cons: bulky

Solid product for gloomy winter

I received a free sample of this Philips light and it has exceeded my expectations. It's been a cold and gloomy winter here in NY, but I've been using the light every morning when I wake up and have coffee before the gym. I've noticed increased energy throughout the day and overall, more awareness while working out.
The various settings for light strength are great as you can ease your way into it (the light can be fairly strong if it`s the first thing you look at in the morning). Overall, the design of the product is great and it has a sleek look that doesn't look out of place in a modern home. A lot of people immediately ask me what it is when they enter my apartment.
My one improvement would be to make it battery powered (and rechargeable) so it doesn't need to be tethered to an outlet, which would obviously enhance it`s portability.
Pros: design, simplicity, energy boosting, solid settings
Cons: not battery powered

Awesome light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the Philips Natural Energy Light to review and I really didn’t think much of it before I used it. I didn’t really believe in a light being able to make you feel different or energized but I was wrong! This light is amazing and really gave me energy and felt like I was in the sun. I don’t normally have seasonal depression but on these super cold nights it’s realy been doing wonders for me! I love the timing it’s very easy to see and use, and the different light levels. Awesome product would recommend!!
Pros: easy to use, gives energy, feels like the sun

Great for an afternoon wakeup

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. It came at the perfect time as a multi-day rain had made it seem like forever since I'd seen the sun.
Out of the box, this device couldn't be simpler. You have the light and a power cord. The included instruction booklet wasn't exactly clear on the best way to use it, but after experimenting for a few days, we figured out what works best for us. I set it up so that I can have the light in front of me while I read and work on the computer in my home office. The front of the unit has three buttons: Power, and two for varying the intensity. There are also lights that show you how long you've been using it.
Results: It works great for those afternoons where you can feel yourself fading and not being productive. I usually turn it on after lunch for about 30 minutes and it helps me get through the day. I did try it one night just a few hours before bed and I didn't sleep as well as I usually do. The packaging warns you that that is possible. The intensity settings are useful. I found that the highest setting was too much for me no matter where I positioned the light. Your results will vary.
My only complaint with the light is the size. At around 12 inches by 16 inches, it's bigger than a tablet computer. It is wall-mountable, but I don't have a suitable location to try that out.
I have seen a noticeable boost in wakefulness in my afternoons and I will continue to use this product on a daily basis.

I received this free Philips Natural Energy White Light Therapy Medically grade product in return for my review. I found this product to be great for my household. I loved the natural light that it gave off in my home with just the simple click of a button. I found this product to be very easy to use as it only contains three buttons. The three buttons are the power button, a less light, and a more light. I also loved the idea that it has a timer on it. The light that this product offers ranges from a low light to a very bright light. I found the instructions that came with the product to be extremely easy to follow. I think that the product is very well constructed and is very durable. To get it started all it requires is to plug in the electrical cord and it’s ready to go therefore it is very easy to assemble. I love how the product just lights up a very dark room but also adds a nice natural light even during daytime. The product is also fairly large in size which is nice because it provides more light. When I received the box I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened up the product to see the quality of it as I really liked it and didn’t expect it to be as large in size as it really is. My favorite feature of the light is that it is extremely easy to use and very simple. The only thing that I would recommend as a change for this light would be offering it in different colors. My light came in white which made it really stand out in certain areas of my house. I think that having multiple colors would give it a sharp luck and allow people to fit it in better in their homes with their style. My overall impression of this product is that it is a great addition to my home and I am looking forward to my continue use with it!

A must for anyone fighting to keep their eyes open through the day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first started using the Philips Energylight as quite a skeptic. A light promising to bring increased energy and focus seems too good to be true. My skepticism was gone after the first couple of days and within a few weeks I already couldn’t imagine how I haven’t tried this sooner. While not a miracle, it certainly has provided more benefits than I could have imagined.
I leave for work before the sun comes up every morning and sit at my desk under a fluorescent light . To say it’s draining would be an understatement. I decided to use the energy light for 30 minutes every day around lunch time and within just a few days, my last few work hours didn’t seem quite as tiring. 3 weeks later and Im I feel more rested and focused from the time I wake up in the morning and it lasts throughout the day. My husband and children tell me I seem to be in a better mood once I get home from work and the crazy part about it is, my coworker I share an office with swears that she has also felt benefits just from being in the office while I use the light.

Effective and easy to use for everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve received a free sample of this energy light to test and keep in exchange for my honest review. I very much enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to people who are feeling fatigue or tired and want something to help them feel better and brighten their day. I like that it is a size of a laptop and you can carry it to work whenever you need it. Very easy to use and you can adjust the light intensity to your liking. Overall, I loved this light and find it a great addition to my life.
