It seems to run out of ink quickly. Cannot print copies from a book or magazine. The print is good but slow. For my home use, it is okay. It's a good printer for the price.

I have never seen in print (maybe an oversite) where you must use the supplied ink cartridges for initial setup. I ordered "XL" cartridges at the same time of purchase because we tend to go thru the standard size pretty fast. When setting up the printer I inserted the "XL" cartridges immediately and had difficulty trying to get good clear prints. Had to take the "XL" cartridges out and put the "set up" cartridges in; I guess that is why they are marked "set up"!! Hoping it will still print clearly when I put the "XL" cartridges back in.

We've had it for about 2 years now, and it seems glitch free so far. But I'm not crazy about the way it scans. You have to put the document in the front slot and it pulls it through and not always copies it clearly. I like the big open scanners better.

Considering the price, this computer is disappointing. My tiny Surface Pro could handle multiple open tabs in the middle of a supertyphoon. This HP computer freezes when three tabs are open. The wi-fi connection disappears for no reason. I am thinking of sending this back. The mouse that came with it was badly designed, rough edges digging into my hand. I had to buy the more expensive one. It's quite stressful using it, especially when one works in media.
Cons: More RAM
Pros: Affordable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
