The new phone takes a bit to get use to using. The biggest challenge to using the new device is that in many different apps especially using the internet it is difficult to go back or to the last screen easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first Samsung phone. Had HTC phones before. So far the S8 active is a awesome phone only had it since it came out a few weeks ago. Time will tell for the long haul.

Samsung galaxy S8 model beats the market of cellphone. S8 active makes it better Samsung galaxy S8 model beat the world of cellphones. Galaxy S8 active with its durability, longer-lasting battery.
Many people who are not technology savvy and find it hard to explore the features on galaxy S8 model may write different things in their reviews; however, this model is great.
I like the elimination of buttons at bottom of the screen to give larger screen ratio to size of phone. I have always wanted button at bottom of phone screens to be eliminated because buttons get loosed, seized after long use.
Bixby works very well even for shopping
Fingerprint, facial recognition to unlock the phone are superb.
I love its design too.

I am absolutely loving my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active! It is nice to have a tougher and more durable version of the S8, which is also a great phone.

Screen Scratches Easily - AVOID

I've had this phone in and out of my pocket for a week. The screen is already covered in scratches--it's not actually Gorilla Glass, but a hybrid coated in plastic. No screen protectors were suggested or in stock. My previous Galaxy Active went over two years with no screen protector and one tiny scratch in spite of all its adventures. My new phone is trashed from doing nothing and I am out all I paid. AVOID.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
