I love my S8 Active!

I've had my phone for a week now, and I absolutely love it. I had the S6 Active before it, and I loved it, too. It's just a great phone.

Had it two weeks now. Operates well love that it couples with a fire stick. Only complaint is its heavy but I'll take they extra weight in trade for the amazing battery life

I have this phone I love it more than any phone. I don't believe any phone is scratch free . However I always protect my phone with any kind of otter box. This phone charges fast and hold charge the phone takes great clear pictures and you can even watch direct data free and it's like watching your own clear tv. I made a great decision buying this phone lot of great features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After seeing many reviews about an easily scratched screen, I was hesitant to get the S8 Active, however I gave it a chance. So far, so good.
I bought a glass screen cover, which I always do for my new phones, and I don't keep it in a pocket with keys, knives, etc.
There's no physical buttons on the front of the phone, so the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear of the phone, near the camera lens, which is a bit of a pain for me.
One new feature is a retina scanner that can unlock the phone. It's not facial recognition, and you can only use one or the other, not both. It actually works! You've still got to be looking at the phone, but it's reliable and fast - as long as it can see INTO your eyes, which hasn't been much of an issue.
The only problem I have with the biometric unlocking features is that for the most part, you have to be either looking directly into the phone, or using the back of the phone for a fingerprint.
The message LED is much dimmer than the S7 Active. Not a problem for most people, and still noticeable.
The speaker is awesome. Crystal clear and very loud.
There aren't enough improvements from the S7 Active to justify upgrading to the S8 Active, in my opinion.
So far, I'm glad I went with the S8 Active. I just wish they had a fingerprint scanner on the front. I really miss that.
