Almost perfect

I cook a lot, and for many years worked in professional kitchens. This stove is great! The only thing I'd like better is more flame in the center of the burner ring. Small pans heat on the outside edge and not so much towards the center. I am learning how to use the burners, though. Overall I love this range. The oven is fantastic - even heat, broiler, racks and number of rack positions are all excellent. It's good-looking and well made. I also understand that (though I was promised I wouldn't need it) parts and technicians are readily available since it is a GE product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oven Not Working

I have owned this range for less than 3 years and now the oven is not working. My wife was about to bake some cookies for my kids, when she to turn it on the over never fired up. You would think for the amount I paid for this range it would not need any repairs so quickly. I’m afraid to know how much the cost for repairs is going to be.

Stopped working

Initially, we loved our new range. It worked great for a year - no complaints. One month after our year warranty ended, the oven stopped working. Extremely disappointed. 6 months ago we ordered the rest of the appliances for our new kitchen. We went with cafe line to match our range - 48” side by side, wall oven and microwave combo, dishwasher, refrigerator drawers. We’ve received the side by side and dishwasher but still waiting on the rest. We’re now considering canceling our order for the rest of the line as we’re very concerned about the quality of the cafe line. We expected better and are hoping this issue can be resolved.

I want to like it

I've had this oven for 2 years, and have had to replace the oven igniter twice already. It seems like this is a chronic problem as others have noted the same issue. While its not all that difficult to replace, the igniters aren't cheap and you need to pull the oven out and remove the back panel to replace it. Not really convenient, especially if you have company coming that evening. Make sure you have a spare on hand.
Also, if you want to keep the burners clean, good luck. Once grease gets burned on, it's nearly impossible to get them looking like new again. And the enamel cooktop is very difficult to keep clean without a razor blade scraper unless you clean any drips immediately. They should have gone with a glass cooktop. And lo and behold, if you remove the lower burner assembly, you will probably notice corrosion around the screw holes.
What a train-wreck of a range. I know that it's discontinued. I just hope that the updated model isn't riddled with these issues.

Broken after 1.5 years

I love to cook and LOVED this oven. However, after 1.5 years it will turn on, but not heat up. I am very disappointed and came back to read that many other people are reporting this same problem after 1.5-2 years of use. We paid way too much to be having issues after less than 2 years of use. It is beyond frustrating to read this is a known issue with this oven and that there has not been a recall.

Nice just a couple bugs

Very nice looking. The door hinge comes undone sometimes and door gets stuck. Cooks well. The gas range top clicks sometimes randomly when one burner is on.

3rd Time is not a Charm

I moved into a beautiful new construction home in May 2020. The stove was a big win for me because I love to cook for my family, but there have been multiple occasions where I have not been able to cook for my family. I have a service appointment scheduled for Wednesday for the same problem that I have experienced twice before only to be told the stove is out of warranty so I have to pay for repairs. Never should a customer spend this much money on a product and every year need to have it repaired. I have only been in the house since May 2020 and this will be the 3rd service call for same issue...The ignitor trips the breaker.

Too much money to be broke

Love the look. Had 13 months and have had 2 repairs. Broke now take a week to get part and then wait for repairman. Another $200 Built new house ordered all new appliances. 1st range broken, had a 2nd one delivered. Now 2nd repair. Paid too much for no reliability.
