I really struggled as we were remodeling to buy a dual fuel or the gas only option. My kitchen remodel was going nuts, so I decided a few dollars and by the gas only option. I can't believe how well it bakes as a gas oven. As for the burners - they are monsters. If you are interested in a 36 inch oven just do it. I will never go back to a 30 inch. I purchased the grill option too, we love that for everything from chicken breast to grilled cheese. It is worth the $250 up charge. Plus the oven just looks killer and is the crown jewel of the kitchen
We love everything about our new range - burners, oven and optional hardware kit. The first issue is the oven door isn’t flush from the side. The second issue is the oven knob with both on/ off and heat should operate like the gas burners by pushing in to turn on and set temperature. It’s very dangerous especially with children. Is there a solution to these problems. I think GE has to fix these 2 issues before I recommend this to young families
We have only had our range for two months, but have been very happy with it. I have been making a lot of bone broth and have loved the low SIMMER setting. The oven has been a game changer for making muffins and meat.
I just moved into a new home and debated whether to get the 30” range or the 36”. The 36” won the day and I’m so happy, it’s great to cook on and holidays are going to be a breeze with the large oven.
I bought this to enable me to prepare large meals with ease. The burners do not seem to heat as high as I expected for the price. Takes longer than normal to boil water. Takes a lot longer to preheat the oven than my previous range. It also omits a strong gas odor when using the oven. Disappointed as it was expensive for the belew average performance.
