Bought and when delivered had to switch door swing. Pre-drilled holes did not line up for door hinge on lower. Makes quite a bit of noise, much more than used to for a new refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this refrigerator two months ago and I am very disappointed!

Issues with my Frigidaire refrigerator

We love everything about this product but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the refer from a big box store. The purchase was seamless and delivery was professional. After the delivery team had departed I had the chance to really take a good look at it. While standing in front of the refer the metal on the left side of the refer seemed rather wavy. I checked the entire appliance and found what appears to be a dent/ impact point on the left rear. Neither issue is worth crying about but we now have an unusual secondary sound besides the compressor pump coming from the appliance. The best way I could describe it would like a gurgle, sometimes a muffled crackling. It appears that this only happens until the Freon has pumped through the system for approximately 4-5 minutes. Other than that. We love our Frigidaire! p.s. But....I will be calling a service tech.

Best combination of features & configuration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before purchasing the Frigidaire Gallery 18.0 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator, I thoroughly researched refrigerators offered by several different manufacturers, carefully comparing features, shelving/drawer/door space configuration, and overall quality. As the FGTR1837TP model most closely met my needs for size, features/configuration, economy, quality standards and appearance, I was confident that I would not be disappointed. And now that I’ve been using this new refrigerator for over a month, I can confirm that I am totally happy with everything about it. It keeps both compartments just right for temperature, operates extremely quietly, and I love the big wide deli drawer that allows me to see everything that’s in there as a reminder to enjoy the food before it spoils. And last but not least, this modern fridge also even fits in with my country gourmet kitchen setting. I highly recommend this product and expect to enjoy it for many years to come.

Nice but a shelf height redesign would help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator due to its having a bright light in both the freezer and refrigerator and the stainless steel matches our new Frigidaire stove &dishwasher. The lights are much appreciated as our old freezer was lacking in lights.
This model also has a full width deli drawer which has some benefits. Keep in mind that full width drawer takes vertical space from the adjacent lower tray. We much have preferred this full width drawer to have been separated into two separate drawers so using full width would have been optional.

Our eager anticipation over a new refrig turned into disappointment when we began to transfer the contents from the old to the new. We are disappointed in the limited ability to adjust or position the shelves vertically. Our older Frigidaire was the same 18 cu ft but offered much more adjustment in shelf storage. User happiness would have been greatly improved had the designers offered additional shelf height options. There is room for the additional adjustments at no increase in cost but sadly, the designers choose not to include them. The shelves are adjustable--just not to the extent possible by adding additional shelf holders.
The appearance and operation of the refrigerator has been very good. Our only disappointment is the space issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
