Ice and water in door is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided we should upgrade our older appliances before retirement at end of year, shopped for months attempting to find made in USA that would fit in our small space. No luck. Finally settled on Frigidaire made in Mexico...Appliance is nice, lovely fingerprint resistant stainless, decent freezer size, ice and water in door is great. Freezer took 3 days to make ice, but has been fine since. Fridge side keeps food almost frozen so had to turn up the temp from recommended setting. Two door bins were broken when delivered, but replacements are supposedly on the way. Definately not made to the quality of the 20 year old fridge we replaced but is sufficient. I will say this appliance makes some crazy noises. We have dubbed them "popcorn" "cattle lowing" and "star wars". Luckily our kitchen is two rooms away and we have grown accustomed to the concert. We were told the sounds are due to the energy efficiency of the unit. Our appliances were delivered in September (ordered in July) and the noise seems to be diminishing somewhat. It is what it is. A refrigerator that keeps food cold.

Good refrigerator BAD Screen

The screen on the the freezer is foggy and hard to read I absolutely hate it. I wish it was clear and up a little higher. The water/ice dispenser stalls every time you use it not very user friendly. Because it’s such a foggy screen you can’t tell if it’s on The ice or water setting so ice flows out when you don’t expect it to. If the screen was fixed this would be a perfect fridge. overall though it’s decently made and lots of space. They dropped the ball on the water ice descender design and screen 100% definitely will be replacing this unit soon.
