Bad design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator February 15th and had nothing but problems. Ice maker was extremely loud and the bin kept freezing my vegetables. After many technical calls they finally replaced the refrigerator with a new one. Now the ice maker is better than before but the bin is still freezing up and I have it set at 40deg. Like the other one we had before.They ordered a compound to plug the vent holes again but they did the same thing before and it still froze. The problem is a bad design. I probably will never buy another Frigidaire again and I might have to go the consumer’s Service if this doesn’t fix the problem.

Still waiting for my bins!

I purchased this side-by-side refrigerator freezer for my in-laws because their refrigerator freezer was shot. On July 13 my refrigerator freezer was delivered. The delivery guys were excellent! I even called the store to let them know how pleased I was with their service. About 20 minutes after they left I noticed that none of my bins to hold in the ketchup mustard’s in the refrigerator or the freezer were in there immediately called the store. They said that they didn’t have any bins there they don’t know what happened to them and that they would order me some from Frigidaire . Well it’s now been over 50 days and I still don’t have the right bins! I have called the store numerous times left messages I even talk to people at Frigidaire which told me that it got shipped out on July 27 well here we are August 20 and I still don’t have my Bins. Last night August 19 I couldn’t take it anymore so I went to the store right purchased a refrigerator and the gentleman was nice and told me that he was going to get to the bottom of it late last night he called me back and said that I could come pick up the bins that they had on a floor model. So today I went to go pick up the bins I was so excited but I thought they looked too long. Well I got home and guess what they’re not the right ones. I am now fed up with this fridge raider my in-laws are completely upset and no one seems to want to help me no matter how many times a call and leave messages , No one seems to care. I’m sorry this is exactly how I feel and I’ve never ever in my life written a bad review on anyone ...

It was determined that the dairy door is on back order for this model refrigerator until early Oct. As a result, the remaining missing 8 bins were released to ship in August. Total waste of money!

First it freezes vegetables in the crisper drawers even if the fridge is turned up to the warmest position! Crushed ice makes a huge mess! The ice maker is totally unpredictable and will drop two cups of ice all at once! Last the compressor is the noisiest I’ve ever seen!

This refrigerator has a high-efficiency compressor that may make a high-pitch humming sound while operating. To avoid freezing in the crisper drawers the humidity levels are adjustable, and low humidity levels can cause freezing of the veggies and fruits inside. Also, ensure that the veggies and fruits are not wet when placed inside of the crisper drawers. For the ice dispenser dumping ice out 2 cups at a time, try to use the ice on a regular basis to help move the ice forward in the bucket and to avoid clumping. Extremely loud

I bought this refrigerator 6 months ago and I'm extremely disappointed in it. From the moment I turned it on I noticed a loud buzzing noise. I had to call the repairman out twice already. He didn't seem to know whether there was a problem or not. He installed a panel to quiet the noise, which did little to nothing to fix the problem. I have already gotten warning messages when using the ice maker as well. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

We understand you are concerned about the noise this unit produces. Note that a buzzing sound is likely from the water valve opening to fill your ice maker. Ice maker jambs

ice maker has been jambing since new and vegetable tender freezes food. they were able to remedy the freezing problem but after replacing ice maker and module, ice still jambs and i'm talking multiple times a day!!!! very frustrated!!!!

Water dispenser - should it be cold?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to buy, good delivery. No apparent issues though the water dispenser isn’t dispensing cold water - only ambient temperature water. Isn’t the point that it is cold? The ice machine works fine.

Nice Fridge, Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about 1 month. It looks nice overall. The motor when you open the door is noisy, not sure if this is typical or there is a problem. Wish all the buttons on the display were backlit as you you can't see them in the dark. For a smaller refrigerator the space inside is very functional.
I would recommend this to a friend!
