I have had many smokers, but feel like I will like this one he best. Was not happy about some of the dents it had when I received it, but it doesn't look like it will affect the cooking.

One of the best gifts I've ever received. Assembly was a snap. It's very well built, simple to operate, has a HUGE capacity if you need it but works just as well for small batches. I'm a first timer and made the best pork tenderloin I've ever had today! The smoker should last for years and years because it doesn't have to get as hot as a grill. IAnother great reason to look forward to the weekend! Can't wait to experiment with it!

I just got mine and found it to be well constructed and easy to use. The only complaint I have is the way it was packed. The 1st one I received had damage on the front door as well as the side was bent out that the latch would not fit. the second one also has dents in the back of the unit, not bad enough to send back again. I think its going to be a vary enjoyable addition to my back yard.

I bought this for my husband's birthday which falls over 4th of July weekend. Easy assembly and better than previous gas smoker. Have not stopped using it since it arrived!

Temp control

I purchased my smoker based on reading multiple reviews. Most reviews mention excellent product with very little issues. I attempted to "season" my smoker at the recommended 175 F and have not been able to control the temperature. I have the coal box totally closed and the upper dampener closed and the temperature is running out of control....350 plus degrees. The seam between the coal box and the food compartment leaks a lot of smoke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a week ago. Instructions were very detailed and the quality was impressive. I bought a grill and seasoned them both at the same time. I have 6 chickens and 2 boston butts smoking now!

I got this as a Christmas present this last year and have used it at least every month since then with outstanding results. It's easy to maintain the temperature, a snap to dump the ashes and with all the rack positions you can smoke multiple meats at once!
