Great Smoker

Great smoker was able to get a deer shoulder in and smoked it all day about 9 hours at 150 degrees, with DR. Pepper and Mesquite chips, everyone loved it, even the ones that said did not like venison. I would recommend this smoker to anyone who wants to try smoking meat. Would recommend smoking more meat at one time kind of costly smoking just one piece went through 30lbs of charcoal and 2lbs of chips.

Awesome smoker!

First used it on the weekend. We smoked ribs, salmon and pork shoulder(pulled pork) Best flavor ever. Tones of space. Easy to use. No complaints at all!

Good instructions Easy Assembly

I just received my smoker yesterday and have not cooked in it yet. I did season it and the temperature looked as it will be easy to hold as needed. It does have some leaks around doors and fire box but looks as though it will not affect the temperature greatly. It was easy for this "73" year old lady to put it together and to follow the instructions. I did not even try to meet the estimated time to assemble. Just did the assembly mostly from my chair and sipped my ice tea and took my time. It was fun and easy to assemble. Good instructions.

My First Smoker

I just received my new smoker...so far so good. It was easy to put together. Very simple to follow assembly directions. I have not officially cook anything yet. I just completed the seasoning process ( A very critical step that you must do first. I could smell the oils and impurities burning off as it seasoned).
The only issue I had is once the smoker heated up. The side air vent down by the coal box was hard to move. The heat caused it to stick and the small thin tabs used to open or close the vent. Started to bend, I had to use a screwdriver and hammer to free up the sliding vent. A design that needs to be fixed or reinforce.
Once it was up and running it held it's temp and vented the smoke just st fine. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I am looking forward to many years of smoking.

Well designed smoker

I bought this on-line with the expectation that a built in China product would be problematic to assemble. I was pleasantly surprised that the smoker was well packaged and the assembly instructions well organized. It went together in 45 min with no difficulty.
