Just what I needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this smoker out for the first time on the weekend. Although the temperature outside was hovering around 28 degrees it worked great. My chicken wings were delicious. I can't wait to smoke some ribs next!!

I've been promised a smoker for (2) Father's Days', (1) Christmas & my birthday --- finally my family SPLURGED and purchased the Dyna Pro Smoker as a non-holiday but 'We Owe You' surprise! It's fantastic and I can't wait to experiment with different meats & wood flavors.

This is my 2nd 1176 smoker. Your smoKer is not wide enough for a whole brisket or a rack of pork ribs, so I'm making one out of two. Your smoker box should be 6-7" wider. Otherwise, it performs well, holds even temp and cleans up easily

Easy Assembly

I was impressed with the directions and ease of assembly. Seems to smoke very nicely and evenly. Did a trial run just to season the machine, now look forward to cooking on it very soon.

works better than my horizontal

I've used it 3 times.Works great, did chicken breast after seasoning used half a basket lump mesquite, held temperature perfectly just under 250°(it was 85°f outside ).I smoked peppers at 150°consistently (on a 30°night).Bottom racks worked well for sausage,top made beautiful ribs.My only complaints are the almost tin can thickness steel, leaks around the door,that being said I would buy it twice rather than go back to my cheap horizontal.

easy to put together/directions 20 mins, great cooking info in the book that comes with it. love the ability to use charcoal and wood as a cooking option. Seasoned it the first day Saturday, and cooked ribs on Sunday, amazing...better than any rib house.
