Huge Ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being a stacked double oven... these are huge inside. The racks also have this open area at the front for easy pulling out of the rack while oven-mits are on. My only complaint is that the cool down fan is loud, but it's liveable and you can hear the tv over the fan if you have an open concept floor plan. These are very nice, and heat up relatively fast for a quick weeknight meal. Great value!

Good ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this ovens as installed by our builder in our new home. We did not research or select this particular make/model, although we are pleased with the look and function of it. Additionally, this is our first double/stacked oven setup (and first not part of the stove), so we don't have previous experience to compare to...other than previous single stove/oven setups. With that in mind, we don't have any severe complaints but do have a few things that we've noticed different from previous ovens we've owned. We have been using it for about 6 months so far and have the following to say. First, it seems to take much longer to reach the set temperature. I like that it displays the current temperature as it heats but it seems to heat much slower than our previous gas oven. But once it finally gets there, it seems to match our oven thermometer we've had hanging in the oven. The only time we've seen a large difference is when we've had 2 full cookie trays in the oven and the hanging thermometer hanged between the trays. In that case, the thermometer was reading about 300' when we had the oven set to 350' and the oven seemed to be operating as if it was at temperature (i.e. cycling). So we wonder if the ovens with convection might improve on this issue as they circulate the air. A second issue we've seen is that it runs a fan/vent, I assume to keep the cupboard above it from heating too much, and this runs for a fairly long time after turning the oven off. This isn't a huge concern since I see the logic behind it, but it was something we weren't aware of prior and one more fan creating noise and blowing warm air into the kitchen (is it possible to have this vented outside like a hood fan?). I've occasionally left the oven door open after turning it off to speed up the cooling process, but I'm not sure I really gain anything by doing this. Finally, another minor item we've noticed is that the temperature alerts (reach set temp) and timer alerts are fairly annoying. They are loud and long, so the benefit is that you never miss them, but at the same time we find ourselves sprinting to turn off the timer when it starts to go off (FYI, we also have a Frigidaire microwave that has the same alarm/alert). In the end, it works as we'd expect and we are happy with it. We haven't really fully tested it yet (no Thanksgiving or other large feast) and have really only used the top oven so far; but it has cooked meals and baked cookies as well as any other oven we've owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought a new home and it came with all Fridgidaire appliances. So far we love it. It cooks food quick and evenly. I can't speak of it longevity since it has only been a month since we have been able to use it. But so far, so good!

The fan is annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We read the reviews about the loud fan before purchasing this oven but this is the only wall oven that would fit in the space we have. We did not realize that the fan stays on continuously when the oven is on and until the oven cools off. Other than the loud fan, the oven works fin.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
