Disappointed

Decided to replace our 1986 GE wall oven and this was the closest match. I wish I had old oven back! This oven takes TOO long to preheat. It has to be preheated before you can put anything inside or the broiler will burn it even when set to preheat to Bake temp. The broiler is much too hot and when baking and even using the lowest rack, food burns on top. I can cover alot with aluminum foil to keep from burning but that is difficult to do with cookies. I have tried cooking choc chip cookies on the lowest rack and the chips burn from the broiler before the cookie bakes done. The fan runs constantly and long after the oven is off and is annoying. I guess was under the impression that things improve with modernization and technology, but the old 1986 GE is light years ahead of this model.

Hello, Disappointed in VA! Thank you for your feedback! Your oven can take approximately 15 minutes to preheat. It is important to wait until the preheat cycle has completed before placing item in the oven to prevent your food from over or under cooking. The type of baking pans used when baking will also make a difference when baking your items. For example, Anodized aluminum is a nonreactive baking-pan material. This type of pan, which is light in color, keeps the bottom crust nice and light, with less wrinkling than what you will find when using darker pans. By reflecting heat rather than absorbing it, anodized aluminum reaches proper baking temperatures more quickly and cools down quickly too. Aluminum is an excellent material for baking because it is a good conductor of heat, which results in even baking, but bakers beware: the shiny surface of the aluminum may prevent proper browning. The fan in your appliance will continue to run until your appliance has cooled completely. Hopefully, this information helps. Broken and No Service

This oven was installed in a brand new home we purchased in December. After 2 uses the oven stopped working. Frigidaire has scheduled and cancelled 5 yes 5 appointments. They've yet to come to the house to fix the oven. Unbelievable the lack of service and there is no sense of urgency on anyone's part. I will never buy a frigidaire product again

1 month old, used 1 time and now RUINED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beware, I used my new Oven 1 time. Foil slipped off the top of my cooking pan and got stuck and melted the bottom of Oven. The Foil adhered to porcelain and peeled porcelain off!! Highly disappointed in this company after purchasing Fridge,Microwave, Dishwasher, Double Oven, Cook top Range! About $10,000! Not a happy consumer.

The high heat of the oven can melt aluminum foil to the oven cavity and ruin the oven. Page 27 in your Owner’s Manual has more information on aluminum foil usage. Buttons hard to press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven is basic as far as double ovens go. The biggest issue with it is that the buttons are very hard to press. You may need to press it three or four time for it to register. I would likely think it was faulty but the matching microwave is the same way. It is very frustrating.

Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this oven a in June 2018 and the upper oven worked for 2 days. As of August 8, 2018 I am still waiting for the upper oven to be repaired. This is ridiculous and absurd! I am appalled and disappointed in this Frigidaire product.

Good double oven for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this unit for three weeks and used only 4 times but good quality and cooks evenly. As others have stated, it does put out heat from fan, when turned on, and I presume others are close to the same though? The included pictures shows front glass reflection but makes kitchen seem somewhat larger. We installed ourselves and saved a couple of hundred bucks. Install was easy and not too heavy after removing front doors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Short Lived

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the ovens were initially a blessing to our cooking, within six months the top oven began to experience faults that have yet to be resolved. Failed to even reach 350'F in more cases than not, while the bottom oven worked without fault.

Inconstant cooking

Bought this 2 years ago. Repair person here 5 times. Main board replaced twice secondary board replaced. 5 th time told to only use convection oven to bake. Does not bake evenly. I am not a new baker. Service rep does not respond. This is a lemon.
