Self Cleaning Glitch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this wall unit last October and performed a self cleaning. The next day I wanted to use next day but wouldn't work. A repair person came out and simply stated that it is a common problem that once you do a self cleaning, the oven won't work. So every time I want to use this feature I will have to call a repair person to replace a part! This is a glitch that needs to be fixed. Can't the company fix this glitch?

Broke after 2 weeks

Had it for 2 weeks. Used the self clean on top oven and now it no longer heats up. 3 weeks later still waiting to get it fixed

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was installed about a week ago. We've used it a few times and it seems to be working just fine. The buttons require a firm pressure to activate -- this isn't a problem, it was just not what we expected. The oven that this unit replaced (a different brand) had similar touch pad buttons but didn't have to press as hard.

Stainless oven

This is a replacement for a 40+ year old unit so now I have the stainless finish, self cleaning, hidden bottom element, digital controls and more. Huge upgrade over the old unit with rotary knobs and analog clock/timer.

New oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying our new Frigidaire oven, especially since we were told by other bug box retailers that they couldn’t get us one till March of 2022. Today is the day before Christmas Eve and we had our oven installed right after Thanksgiving. We will be able to enjoy dinner with our family on Christmas thanks to our new oven! I’m not taking it for granted you can be sure!

Okay, but wish I had bought something else

We had a double oven installed when we remodeled our kitchen last fall. I’ve been using the oven since mid-November. I was quite surprised at how loud the fan was for the upper oven, but accepted that it must be the standard for any electric double oven. Since we first installed it, I’m growing increasingly frustrated with other issues: the temperatures don’t seem to be calibrated evenly between the upper and lower ovens, as we usually get two different results on the same recipe depending on which oven we use. Overall, both ovens typically burn food if I cook at the recipe’s suggested temperature and time. I’ve started to reduce the cooking temp by 25 degrees.
Today, I put meatloaf in the upper oven and set the timer for one hour, and 20 minutes later the fan turned off indicating the entire oven had shut itself off at one point. I tried heating the oven up again and setting the timer only to have the oven shut off again. Again, heated it up and set the timer, then the timer shut off (no beeping or anything, just sort of acted like it had never been set) and then after a few minutes, the oven shut off again.
It just feels like little things are adding up into a bad purchase decision. I don’t know where to turn for help other than shelling out additional money for someone to service it and tell me what to do to fix all these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
