Heats Water Great, But...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pro Line Electric Kettle heats water fast! Love it! However, it stopped working after 2.5 years. But I will say, KitchenAid honored their 5 year replacement guarantee after I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with them. I would recommend this product because of the replacement guarantee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful and of a high quality. I use it on a daily basis, and would take not much time to boil water. Temperature settings are easier to use. Only negative side of this is the High price. Other than that, I really like this product to be added to my kitchen with multiple other Kitchen Aid products.

I love my red kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This red kettle is the nicest KitchenAid item I have ever bought. I also have the red food processor. (I wish there was a matching coffee pot.) It’s actually prettier in person than the picture. Very substantial. Also, the little ding it makes when the water is ready is not annoying like a whistling tea kettle. It heats quickly to whatever temperature you want and you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. It’s a perfect item.

Excellent kettle but unreliable

I have been using this beautiful kettle for almost 3 years, so I think it’s time for a review.
Build and looks
I would say this is the most beautiful red kettle on the market, mine matches the toaster, mixer, kitchen utensils and pans.
It looks retro, has solid external build quality and the red paint is thick.
Performance
The separate base has a temperature slider, setting the desired heat is easy and accurate. Water reaches boiling point relatively quickly and the ‘bing’ noise is loud to indicate it’s ready.
Reliability
This is very poor. Unlike the food mixer, the kettle is unreliable. I’ve had the kettle changed, just a year after buying. Customer service were good and replaced it under warranty. Then a month after the warranty run out, the replacement kettle broke down. However, since there was no warranty remaining, Customer Service could not replace it. I requested it to be repaired and I would pay for it. But is not possible as these kettles cannot be repaired economically. Therefore, I must buy a new one.

It's a Gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm writing due to receiving several requests to do so. I have every confidence this will make a very pleasing gift for my daughter. She actually requested it for her very busy lifestyle. It came well-packaged. It's hard to say if it was "on-time" as we live on a steep hill and had about a foot of snow, stopping all deliveries of every kind. But as soon as the road cleared and the snow melted, it arrived the day after Christmas, which isn't bad as I had gotten the order in late. The color is gorgeous and the finish appears to be very smooth making it easy to wipe down.

Works well, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water heats up fast. The kettle is not as bulky as I thought it was from the photos. The temperature selector is easy to use. The thermometer is clear. The look is nice. The only part that could be improved is the gauge that is inconveniently located behind the handle, which makes it hard to read. It is not a dealbreaker though.
