Like the kettle very quiet and quick but catch on lid a bit of a problem sometimes lid comes open when kettle boiling

Hi our kettle is a couple of years old and still looks great and the analog temperature gauge is a nice and surprisingly useful addition. However it has developed an issue where it won't heat to 100C and instead only goes to 95C and turns off. If I move the temperature dial back and forth a few times and press the button again it then heats to 100C
