Near to perfection as a toaster can possibly get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many toasters and since sometime around the late 90s I was burning through them but not because they failed, because they just didn't do a good job on toast. This toaster is expensive and it is worth every penny. If a countertop appliance could be considered an art form then this toaster is a masterpiece of design and function. I love this toaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my kitenaid toaster. it matches my stand mixer and brightens my kitchen. i only gave a 4 star because the light keeps coming on when it is not even in use. i have no idea why this happens. it's like it's possessed. other than that, i wish the "done" chime would be louder so I can hear it in another room. All in all, I love the shape, the color, and the way it makes toast.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had it for a few weeks, and of course it takes a bit to get used to the settings on any new toaster. But it's very consistent and toasts very evenly. Very expensive, of course, but worth it if it holds up reliably for a long time.
