Originally loved it, not so much now...

I have always been a fan of Kitchen Aid countertop appliances; in fact, I still have my classic stand mixer from my wedding 22 years ago. When I first bought this toaster, I loved the look of it and all of the cool features, especially the "a little longer" button; however, it recently started toasting unevenly and leaves parts of the bread looking undone. For this price, it really should last years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lovely, but does not toast worth a darn

A beautiful toaster with really cool features that toasts about as well as sitting on a piece of bread for half an hour. Gorgeous hunk of appliance that simply does not accomplish its task. Very expensive counter-sitter. Don't buy this.

Great KitchenAid Product

Purchased to replace a 15-year-old KitchenAid Toaster that we gave to my son for his first apartment. Reminds me of the old "automatic" Sunbeam toaster that was in our kitchen growing up. It is a fabulous toaster and all the added features (large slots, bagel, "a little longer," cancel settings etc.) make it fun and easy to use. Hope it lasts as long as our old KitchenAid, which is still going strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never did I ever think I would put this amount of money in a toaster. I have never had a perfect toasted toast or bagel in all of my 70 plus years. Every piece of toast comes out perfect. No burnt sides. I am truly pleased with this toaster.

Too smart for it's own good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toaster has an auto-toast feature that recognizes when you put bread in. It is defective and always thinks there's bread in. Keeps toasting the air every 10 minutes.

Do Not Buy

Do not buy. I bought this toaster in February 2024. It is November and Kitchenaid has replaced this product twice. The most recent replacement was sent out less than a month ago. All three toasters have the same problem. At some point (weeks or just a couple of months) the automatic feature stops working. I call customer service, they send a new one out, and the same thing happens. The allure of the toaster was the automatic feature. Otherwise, I could have bought a good toaster for half the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this toaster a few weeks and love it. It is stunning as you can see. My favorite function is that you can see by the lights how much time is left. No need to pop the toast up to check. It’s very quiet except for the gentle chime when it’s done.
