[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabulous styling, solid metal construction, amazing performance! I fill the hopper and just flip the switch to conveniently make whatever size coffee I need. Pretty loud, but will probably get quieter when it’s broken in. I expect to have this for many years to come.

Keeps on Grinding

Been using it daily for almost two years now, and still going. Consistent granules. I owned other mills before this, this has been the best so far.
We bought this unit to grind botanicals for our craft distillery. It makes short work of the juniper berries and pinon nuts we use in our gin and gets them to a size we can then transfer to our food processor to blend with the other botanicals for the gin.
It works as expected, no issues. I weigh the coffee beans into the filter-lined basket, dump them into the hopper, then grind them directly into the basket. No mess. I re-insert the bottom jar just to give the grinder an attractive balanced look on the counter when not in use.

I've had mine for about 10 years (when it carried the KitchenAid Pro Line moniker) and love it with one exception: I wish it had 1/3 click stops between the grind numbers instead of only 1/2 clicks. It would be nice to be able to dial in (and hold at a click) a little more precise grind. Otherwise, it's a great product. Quite a bit less expensive than the "barrister" grinders from the Italian espresso manufacturers.
Great grinder and high quality. It is a little higher priced but after using a less expensive one for many years when went to replace it I wanted a better quality machine.. The less expensive grinders are very loud and the parts are mostly plastic and tends to pick a lot of static electricity making a mess with clinging grounds. This grinder has metal parts and glass containers for holding the beans and ground coffee - no static clinging - no mess!! Not nearly as loud and grinding adjustments are very good and easy to use. Very attractive counter-top appliance, especially when you add the KitchenAid coffee make of the same color setting next to it... Looking forward to many years of continuous trouble free service...
The only negative thing I would say is that the bottom glass container that catches the ground coffee should be made of thicker glass construction similar to the top bean container. The one that it has seems a little fragile to me and I'm afraid it might break easily...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third and hopefully the last coffee grinder I have bought in the last 14 months. This is my first kitchenaid and I have fallen in love. This thing is meaty and well built and it works like a charm.
