My other bur grinder lasted 5 yrs.This one is made very well & i hope lastes longer.It is a little loud but then iam hard of hearing.The grind is really great.It is what i xpect from Kitchenaide.THANK YOU

I have tried other grinders and this one is the best by far. We like to make both pour-through and french press coffee. It's easy to go back and forth to choose the exact grind for each. We have only had it for a month, so I can not attest to its longevity, but on inspection it is well made and solid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS AND LOVE IT. NO MESS LIKE MY OTHER GRINDER. MY OTHER GRINDER WHEN YOU PULLED OUT CONTAINER THE COFFEE WAS GROUND INTO, THERE WAS ALWAYS LOSE GRIND'S YOU END WITH ON COUNTER, NOT WITH THIS ONE. ALSO IT IS EASY TO CLEAN.

I knew I would own this coffee grinder someday when I could justify the cost. When my the current grinder broke my wife convinced me to take the plunge. The grind constancy and the visual control of the amount of coffee being ground might this unit a winner. I also like the ease of changing the grind size depending the brewing method.

Great Grinder; Delicate Grind Jar; No Replacement?

I purchased this coffee grinder in October 2017, and have been very pleased with it. However, today (16 October 2018) the grind jar was dropped and broken. It should be listed under replacement parts, but it's not.

This works perfectly each time, no chunks of coffee left behind to regrind or anything. Does a lot at one time too. We use six heaping spoonfuls each day so we need quite a bit ground at a time without standing in kitchen for a long time.it's not loud either. We totally recommend this item.
