[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have this machine on my counter just for its looks and that is the reason I originally bought it. Voluptuous is the word to describe its appearance, nothing chromey, stainless steel, angular, looking like it was designed by an oil refinery engineer; just plain and simple. My machine was faultless until the end making at least five coffees a day (sometimes thirty) for five and a half years - that's thousands of coffees. I was going to get it repaired but someone was disposing theirs for next to nothing so I got it instead. It is now a year old, suffering the same treatment and holding up just as well. If you love the hands on experience of making coffee, this is the machine for you. In using it, you will learn the art of espresso, something lost on those automatic machines. I want a coffee the way I like it, not as determined by a barista or a program. The Kitchenaid machine allows me to do it as I want while looking good at the same time. I will be disappointed when my current machine dies and there is no replacement. It will still sit on my bench for its good looks though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we bought one when they first came out several years ago (aprox.10+ yrs) and it still runs great every morning of everyday. I have had to replace on small part in 10+ yrs and that's it. We are so glad they have come out with them again and will be purchasing another one before this one we have ever gives out. I hope they are still made by the same Co. and marketed by Kitchenaide....AWESOME MACHINE!!!!!!!

Really good machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machine. With a small amount of trial and error I was able to dial in great espresso. This machine heats up very quickly, the double boilers are great. The temperature gauge has a "Ready" mark on it. I wish there was a notch for the ideal temp, or at least numbers.
Overall a great machine. My wife and son love their lattes and babyccinos.
Great looking heavy duty machine. I look forward to waking up firing it up in the morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first machine wouldn’t even turn on out of the box. They replaced it quickly and the new one has worked great! It seems like it’s getting louder with time, but other than that all is working well. It’s a shape this doesn’t have a pressure gauge.
