Frother doesn't work and double shot sprays

I bought this back in November for my wife's Birthday. Upon arrival we tested it out and when using the double shot portafilter it sprayed espresso all over the kitchen. We tryed tamping with less pressure and even tried putting no coffee in it to run water it still sprayed. We got that one replaced. We got our second machine in December and it did the same thing but then found out that when we used the single shot portafilter it worked just fine so we just dealt with it eventhough it now takes forever to make just one latte. Now 6 months later the frother doesn't work. Sometimes It will stop steaming after 20 or 30 seconds and it will never give us hot water. The temperature gauge also reads past the maximum temp very quickly after turning it on. Customer support is almost impossible to get in contact with. The chat feature normally has at least a 2 hour wait but times out after 20 or 30 mins and disconnects. I've tryed calling a few times and so far an impossible 3 hour or more wait time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love it with one exception

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine! The only thing I wish was different, is that there was more control on the temp of the coffee broiler. It only and always gets just to the ready mark. I don’t feel like it gets hot enough to truly get the full flavor of the ground.

Very simple and great espresso every time. The double boiler works like a charm not having to wait for temperatures to change. Kitchen Aid did it again with a great look and awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine makes great tasting lattes and looks great in my kitchen. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is sometimes the frother doesn't get hot enough and takes a long time to froth to temperature. It's minor though.

Je ne recommande absolument pas cette machine.

The 4th exchange of the same machine and still broken. The last one took 2 days to brake down.
I absolutely do not recommend this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
